Something different - Edit
I was intrigued by the thought of Afghan food. And quite some vegan options on the menu.
Read moreUnfortunately some of the options were crossed out with a pen and not available anymore, but I happy to have more than just 1 option to choose from.
The food was okay. The Aschak was even really tasty, but all dishes were drowning in oil. Now maybe that is just Afghan cuisine, but for me it was way too much.
Would try Afghanistan food again if I found it somewhere.
Pros: Vegan options, nice atmosphere
Cons: Musty smell and no water in toilets.

Comfort Food - Edit
Noosh is one of my favourite spots in Vienna. Albeit not being fully vegan or even fully vegetarian it offers an amazing atmosphere, a loving and welcoming place that also lends itself regularly to artists doing exhibitions, or cooperations with Südwind, which is an Austrian NGO working in the field of Global North Global South relations.
Read moreMy absolute favourite is the vegan Golestan - self-made thick noodles with lentils and fresh and steamed vegetables - it is really delicious and highly recommended!
