Good Vietnamese restaurant - Edit
The restaurant offers some vegetarian options. The vegetarian pho is around 60.000VND which is around 3€ for a big bowl.

Okay, nothing outstanding - Edit
Open again!!
Read moreI had summer rolls and vegetarian vermicelli noodle which was actually vegan.
Summer rolls (4 rolls/ 40k) were thin and only had veggies and noodles inside. I wish there would have been option with tofu also. The peanut sauce was tastless and watery. Not worth to try.
Vegeterian (read vegan) vermicelli noodle (50k) dish was better. The sauce was tasty. In my opinion there were too much noodles compared to the veggies and tofu

Ok but nothing special - Edit
Food was fine, but we've had a lot better in Hanoi. Could be the dishes we picked as others in the restaurant seemed happy with their food. Had the friend veggie spring rolls, tofu in tomatoes and tofu and mushroom dishes.

Good food - Edit
Went here for lunch and had the broken rice and tofu with veg. Lots of vegan options to choose from and you get a good portion for the price.
Read moreThe topping on the broken rice was really decent, and the sesame seeds over the dish added a lot to it! Would go back again.
Edit: have since gone back and had the pho and tofu aubergine clay pot. Pho was decent. Nothing amazing, but a decent pho. Tofu aubergine clay pot was delicious, would definitely recommend!
Pros: Lots of veggie options that are also vegan, Relatively cheap, Classic Vietnamese food
Cons: Serves meat

Nice food - Edit
I was looking forward for trying some Bum Bo Nam Bo, but is really hard to find a vegetarian one in town. So suddenly I stopped by this restaurant and I found many veggie options! I tried it and it was great. So yummmy! The price was pretty good too. Definitely would go back !

Served meat in veg dish - Edit
Ordered the samosas, veg fried spring rolls and the tofu, vegetable and noodle dish. Samosas were nice, the spring rolls are nice until we realised half of them had meat through them. The tofu dish was horrid - soggy and flavourless, and the soup was like jelly. My dish had the same soup as my friend who who is not vegan and had a chicken dish so I suspect this was not vegetarian to begin with.
Read moreWill not return here and would not recommend if you are concerned about being served meat in your dishes as this has happened several times it seems, not just a once off.
Pros: Samosas were ok
Cons: Served meat in a vegetarian dish, Noodle dish was disgusting

Fast service, good taste, good price - Edit
A small restaurant in the Old Quarters, not very cozy interior but it's clean. My wife and I had one vegan dish each and both were really tasty and we got them served only 5 min after order. Paid 50k per dish.

Sooo tasty! - Edit
Incredible vegan Vietnamese food!! We came back 3-4 times because it was so nice. Each time there were generous sized portions, quick service, friendly staff so it’s really good value for money! Definitely recommend getting the samosa chay as a side dish (can’t remember what they’re called exactly) because they were delicious! It is a must go in hanoi😄wish I could rate 5!

Beware. Don’t understand Vegan/vegetarian - Edit
I witnessed a woman staying in my hostel telling the staff that there were chicken bones in her bowl of vegetarian curry. She was rightfully upset. Personally I’ve decided to avoid all places that serve flesh here.
Read moreThey do have a vegetarian menu, but I would not trust the pho, or anything with broth. Not worth the risk. Maybe the tofu/rice dishes if you’re sure to google translate no eggs or fish sauce.
Pros: “Vegetarian” menu?
Cons: Served a vegan curry with chicken bones., Don’t understand the concept of veganism, Serves only tourists

Chicken in the vegan curry?! - Edit
I really enjoyed the food here until I decided to try the veggie curry... I found a chicken bone inside the curry! Absolutely disgusted by this place now. It’s clear that they use the same curry broth for the chicken curry and the veggie curry - they just don’t add chicken meat in the veggie one, but that doesn’t make it vegetarian. Definitely wouldn’t trust any of their other food if they are scamming like this. VEGETARIANS ANS VEGANS AVOID THIS PLACE!!!

Wow... so dissapointing. I was going to write a review on this place but now I don't know what to think. I really liked this place! I only tried veggie pho there and it was very good, but now I'm afraid that perhaprs the broth they used wasn't vegetarian at all... So, so upsetting! Thank you very much for you comment. I don't think it was their malicious intent to scam vegetarians and vegans. Most likely they really just don't understand that taking away the meat doesn't make the meal vegetarian. Still, very, very upsetting. Thanks again for sharing your experience!

Amazing food and great prices! - Edit
Not sure why people don’t like this place, the spring rolls are SO GOOD, and the pho is equally delicious. We had lunch here three days in a row. It was 140k for two people; we shared a spring rolls and each got our own entree and each a coke lite. One of the best in the city and at less than half what’s some of the strictly vegetarian places charge.
