Fresh and friendly - Edit
A cosy eatery located not too far from the harbour area. The owner, Nobi, was friendly and spoke great English. I ordered the set vegan meal which was healthy, tasty, and filled with fresh-tasting ingredients.

Very good - Edit
We came her twice during lunch and had delicious vegetarian meals. Sandwiches, curry and Rice set. Very friendly people. Currently, she does only seem to be open during lunch time: 11-14.30. Opening times may vary, but do check this place, it's worth it and location is close to tram stop ohato.

VEGAN Donuts 😍 - Edit
Only open for a short time over lunch, we got there about 130 and they’d already sold out of the crispy fried veggies 😩 I had the chickpea sand which which came with crisps soup and salad , and it was a lot of food. We bought 4 donuts to take away and they were amazing, kept ok till the next day as well which is good as we are finding it’s always helpful to stockpile vegan snacks here

Delicious lunch at Nobister - Edit
Great little gem of a restaurant with plenty of delicious vegetarian and vegan options on the lunch menu. Artisanal bread is also available which is otherwise quite difficult to find. The friendly and talkative owner is clearly passionate about food, locally grown produce and home-made salt. Seating is limited but we didn't have any problems getting a seat on a Friday afternoon at 1:30pm.

The Best cafe in Japan - Edit
We had a super delicious vegan lunch and really enjoyed talking with Nobi about Japanese food and differences in uptake of vegan diet between Japan and New Zealand.

Fantastic little place with so many veg options! - Edit
This would have to be one of the best meals I've had in my nearly 2 years of living in Japan! Vego options in Nagasaki seemed super rare so when I came across the reviews of Nobister on 'Happy Cow' I knew I had to check it out. And I certainly wasn't disappointed! I had the vegan sandwich set and the portion size was filling (of course super tasty too) and the price surprisingly cheap! I went on a weekday at around 1.30 and by the time I left, the place was packed (mind you, full capacity was about 8 people). Service was impeccable, everything is prepared by hand in front of you as you wait. Highly recommended!

Nobister is the place to go for vegans and vegetarians in Nagasaki! - Edit
A small restaurant, created by the owner out of the need for more veggie food in Nagasaki. The food is delicious and a lot of options. It is a tiny restaurant, and everything is served with care, therefore this is a restaurant where you need to make time for.
Read moreHad a nice long chat with the owner and husband. They like techno music like me.
This place is the hidden gem of Nagasaki. Only 4 out of 5 because they also serve meat and fish.
Pros: Vegan options, owner is conscious about the food,

Nobister is pretty good restaurant in Nagasaki - Edit
I stopped by for lunch, this place is one of the very few restaurants vegetarians and vegans can enjoy healthy food in Nagasaki. I talked with the owner she said their breads are baked with organic whole grain and natural yeast, they cook with organic or local grown produces as much as possible, no refined sugar, they even produce their own salt! She is very passionate about food and health!
