Very good vegan options

Several vegan items on the menu, including breakfast items, toasties, bagels, and I enjoyed the very good Plant-Powered Breakfast, a vegan “full English” type meal accompanied by lightly roasted, garlicky kale, avocado on toast, beans on toast (not canned Heinz!) and hummus topped with seeds. Very good bread here too: I liked the Manx Wild sourdough. Delicious treats - two were vegan: big soft cookie and chocolate-topped bar. Popular place for morning coffee and baked goods.
Housed alongside a cocktail bar and work spaces in the historic Market Hall.
Open every day, 8:00 am (9:00 on Sunday) to 2:30 pm.

We get our fresh bread from here

They support local businesses too.

Pros: Always fresh bread with loaves you can take away, A few vegan options, specials are often vegan too

Cons: Large echoey building so can be noisy when full, Occasionally we have gotten bread undercooked in, the middle or over proofed.

Nice sourdough bread

Sells bread, cakes and light meals.

Only the sourdough bread is vegan (ingredients of all breads are shown).

Large seating area – can get busy. Good provision of things for children to play with. Informal.

Vegan options for light meals and snacks are limited and are not marked. I had sourdough toast with avocado – make sure you ask for no butter.

Vegan cakes, such as chocolate brownie, are marked.

Pros: Nice bread, Friendly staff, Vegan cakes

Cons: Bread sells out quickly, Can get busy, Limited vegan options
