Very good and lovely place. We stayed in Skhirat but we made the trip to this lovely resto. Nice people, good chose and they leave you alone. We will return before heading home! If you are looking for a good vegan restaurant. Here it is.

Amazing place - Edit
The only vegan place in Casablanca but luckily it has amazing food. We went every day we were there. All options were good. Hazelnut ice cream was some of the best I’ve ever had.

Really yummy! - Edit
Had the “crab cakes”, the risotto and the cheeseburger. Was really good and filling. I wanted to try their “chicken” burger but it was sadly not available that day. Didn’t try deserts but the cookies looked good.

Absolutely delicious vegan food in Casablanca! - Edit
My husband is vegan,(and I am gradually becoming vegan) and on this trip of a lifetime I wanted to make sure he would enjoy all his meals, so before leaving for Morocco, I looked up "vegan restaurants". Niya in Casablanca was amazing, so much that we ate there 3 days in a row, with the rest of the (non-vegan) family on our last night there. We shared most of the starters and meals so that we could taste as many dishes as possible. The small pizza was very tasty, the nachos were crisp and crunchy, well seasoned, the mushroom raviolis were incredible, and soaking up the sauce with the bread made them even better. We had to try the Friday couscous special with its very fragrant seasonings, and the desserts were to die for! Both the vegan and non vegan family members agreed these were some of the best foods eaten in Morocco so far. And they even have a couch for the cat! actually we noticed quite a few clients came in for a tea, dessert and some quiet reading time. The menu seems to change regularly depending on availability of fresh local foods. The mineral water free free, which is not always the case in Morocco. Absolutely recommend Niya's in Casablanca with their very friendly and cheerful staff and so creative chef!
Read moreI read a review where someone complained about the coffee so I thought I would try it. It was delicious, strong, bold, flavourful and the almond milk added and nice smoothness to it.
If you aren't vegan, this is a great way to introduce delicious plant-based food to your diet and discover how awesome it can be!
We were in Casablanca from Feb 15 to 18th, 2023 and highly recommend Niya, 34 Rue Sebou, Casablanca 20100, Morocco.

I got unlucky? - Edit
I had an amazing breakfast here, but also an absolutely awful burger. Looking at the ratings I think I was just unlucky, I'd definitely still recommend it. Still, patty was so hard I'm still not certain it doesn't contain rubber. Could be because I ordered it? Still, how does food get so bad within the span of 10 minutes?

Cons: I'd avoid the burger

I loved my meal at NIYA. I had the kale salad and Friday special dish, couscous. Both were delicious. And I grab a cookie to snack on later which was also yummy. Highly recommend.

Beautiful vegan restaurant with lots of options - Edit
This is a beautiful restaurant and everything is vegan (yay). The first time I have seen tofu on the menu in Morocco. The ravioli was good and the quinoa bowl with tofu and vegetables was fabulous. Highly recommend. Sorry we started eating and then remembered to take a photo.

Best food in Casablanca! - Edit
As the only vegan restaurant in Morocco, it certainly lives up to our greatest expectations! The meals are freshly prepared and whole food plant based. The server Mohcine, was incredibly nice, and spoke plenty of English! The layout of the restaurant is simple and cute though located on a side street.

Best food we’ve had in 2 weeks Morocco - Edit
Super delish. Feel like I’ve finally eaten the flavor explosion I expected in Morocco. The rfissa alone (offered on Wednesdays) was worth the long walk through traffic-heavy streets. But every item we ordered was a delight.

Pros: Flavors of morocco, Novel ingredients , All vegan, even dessert

Highest Praise! - Edit
We had the most delicious meal here today. Beautifully presented, perfectly spiced, delicately balanced flavors, with nicely sized portions. There were flavor combinations I have never tasted before in decades of eating vegan foods around the world. NIYA has outdone themselves. Additionally, we had a lovely breeze flowing through the full-length open glass doors, English speaking staff, and very very clean facilities. NIYA must be visited if you are ever in Casablanca.

Best place to eat vegan in Casablanca - Edit
I've loved everything I've had at Niya so far! A few pasta dishes, burgers, desserts, brunch, juices and the latte! My favourite has been the pasta alla norma, I hope it makes a comeback on the seasonal menu. The staff is lovely and the owner is a true advocate for animals. It's the only all-vegan restaurant I know of in Casablanca and they also rescue and adopt out kitties that you can sometimes meet at the restaurant if you're lucky!
