Great range of options on the menu, the cauliflower masala we tried was really delicious. Great service too and rice/yoghurt/pickle are free alongside main dishes.

Tasty and quick! - Edit
It was nicely located near the station, and the workers were very nice! My partner and I shared a curry, and the portion was a good size and super tasty! It's also great that the rice is free and we got a student discount. Would highly recommend!

After reading the spice debate here I decided to order normal spicy. I regret it. It wasn't spicy at all. I ordered budget friendly option plat du jour. But a friend of mine ordered rajma again regular spicy it was SPICY. I think spiciness depends on the dish.

Great and quick Indian food - Edit
Went there because we had to wait for the train, the takeaway was very quick and the food was tasty. Would recommend taking the box without the side salad though as the salad is pretty small.

Best vegan Indian food I ever tried, confirmed by my boyfriend. The place seems a bit strange at first but the atmosphere is very friendly and the owner super kind .

Just excellent! - Edit
The food was amazing and the service was just excellent! For an Indian restaurant, it was relatively cheap and you get good portions. They offer you free extra rice and free soy yoghurt which is a pretty nice extra. The interior design could be improved (the pictures didn’t really match the style of the chairs etc., could be more eye-catching and theme-based) but it was really comfy overall. As a student you also get 10% discount on the food you ordered. The staff was very nice and friendly, too.

Amazing Vegan Food - Edit
So happy we went to this restaurant. It was a vegan haven in Luxembourg where you can struggle to get good vegan food. The staff were so amazing and nice, really made our evening. Everything is vegan and they offer a really good selection of options.

A must go place - Edit
I am not one who usually leaves reviews, but this place deserves a glowing one! We went for dinner yesterday and what can I say… the food was delicious, tasted home made. Good prices and the owner is an amazing person, with the clear purpose to spread love for a vegan lifestyle, 100% tasty. Will be back!

Lovely flavours - Edit
The service was very friendly. My aubergine curry was just as I like it, but might not be to everyone's taste - salty, greasy, spicy and served piping hot. Great flavours.
Read moreWhen I first entered I was a bit unsure about the atmosphere and interior. The decor was a bit tired and old school style, some of the items like reservation signs were grotty looking. It felt a bit more like a cafe than a restaurant, and some drinks were out of stock, but the food was so good I'd definitely return and recommend it.

The service team was really friendly and asked several times if everything was ok. They asked how spicy we want it and we could get more rice for free. We felt very comfy there.

Nice Indian restaurant - Edit
Indian restaurant with a very rich menu, they cook at the moment so if you order something to takeaway you need to give them at least half an hour to prepare it. All good and tasty.

The best Indian vegan cuisine I have tried in any country! - Edit
The served food is absolutely delicious, well seasoned per your spiciness level preference, and in a very attractive price for such wonderful quality. You can choose anything you can crave for - soups, starters, various main dishes, desserts and original Indian drinks like Chai tea or mango lassi. What is hardly ever met, is the authentic kindness of the people working there. Apart from splendid menu, Nirvana is the place, where you feel heartily welcome. The warm atmosphere spread there together with the veganism spirit being clearly the highest priority, everyone can feel inspired by so involved people.

Great food and very nice staff. We had 3 streetfood 'snacks' and one main to share with 2 at the medium spice level, all were tasty. Do try the (free) spicy pickles if you like it spicy.

An average experience - Edit
I left feeling this restaurant feeling slightly disappointed. The reviews I had read before visiting gave me such high hopes. Whilst the food was nice it definitely wasn’t as tasty as I had hoped for. Not the flavours I would have expected from an Indian meal. I asked for medium heat but the spice of the food was minimal. I wish I had asked for spicier.
Read moreThe lady who took my order was very polite and friendly but unfortunately left halfway through my meal. A gentleman (maybe the owner) then took over serving me. I don’t know what it was exactly but I got weird vibes from him and I got the impression other guests felt uncomfortable too. Maybe just me but I have to be honest. There weren’t many people in the restaurant but he seated people unnecessarily close to each other. Once eaten he asked politely if I could pay with cash to which I explained I only have card. He told me cash would be better as it’s a small business but I had already told him by this point I could only pay with my card. Also before taking my initial order I showed my covid pass yet he still asked for proof of identification. Is that normal process? Apologies if so but I’ve never had to show ID to order food before.
So overall the experience was a little odd and unfortunately the food didn’t make up for it.
Pros: Fully vegan menu
Cons: Strange vibes

Literally life changing - Edit
I visited this place a few years ago on Christmas eve. I went there as it was the only place that evening serving real dinner that was open. I was just looking for something to eat so I could go back home, but I ended up having one of the most delicious meals of my life. In fact, the food there was so good, it is what got the ball rolling for me to go vegan a few months down the road.
Read moreSince I don't live in the Grand Duchy, I have been to many Indian restaurants trying to replicate the experience I had there, but so far I have been unable to. I don't visit the country often, but next time I am around, I am certainly eating there again.

spicy!!! - Edit
I had the 'plat du jour', it was rice with lentils (daal) and pakora. It was really good but I asked for a 'high' spice level since I read somewhere that someone ordered medium and it wasn't spicy. Just letting you guys know I suffered through the meal haha, it was waaaay too spicy. Coming from a Korean that is used to spicy food - this was a bit of a torture. But my own fault since I asked for a high spice level. I'm having stomach ache now (the day after) so I would recommend eating medium spicy even if you are used to spicy food! Other than that it was really nice, my boyfriend's dish (vegetable curry) wasn't very special but not bad either. would come back for sure.

Good not great, but very vegan - Edit
Vegan chai, vegan lassi, lots of dishes to choose from and everything is vegan. Very friendly and accommodating owner, offered free juice since the food preparation took longer than expected, offered water for a customer’s dog, etc. Describes himself as “hardcore vegan” - even the bottled fruit juice is certified vegan, because he worries about refined sugar and other such micro-ingredients. He doesn’t mind if you bring your own snacks in, but objects if you bring in anything that is not vegan. Sign on the door says not to wear fur inside. Etc.
Read moreChoose your own spice level on the food. Lots of warnings about how spicy it is but I ordered it medium and it wasn’t spicy at all.
