Plenty of vegan options - Edit
Had a nice salad with roasted butternut and chickpeas. Fresh and tasty. There were other salads, hot plates, pizza and a vegan protein shake. Also a desert option. Sadly I didn't have room to eat much that day! Cool place with good food, laid back vibes and excellent service. Would give 5 stars if app allowed

Zo veel keuze!!! Na een lange reis op de garden route, nog niet eerder een restaurant tegen gekomen met zo veel opties (inclusief dessert). We waren hier op “curry buffet night” en hebben heerlijk genoten van de vegan butter Chicken en yellow tofu. Als dessert de vegan cheesecake - GEWELDIG!!

Nina’s has a wonderful vegan menu with loads of different options, you can get virtually anything you want but vegan. Super tasty food and good quality at reasonable prices. Friendly staff and always willing to take on feedback. Definitely recommend Nina’s when you visit Jbay. They also have really nice take out vegan options

Best tofu I've ever had - Edit
You gotta try this place if in town..we were here for 1 night, 2 days and ate only here. So much choice that on the first day we ordered 3 meals each ha ha (we hadnt eaten all day but prob would have still ordered 3 regardless). I had the cold bowl tofu and the Sri Lankan curry and nachos. All were amazing but the tofu in the cold bowl was out of this world. Best I've ever had and I'm veggie 27 years with the last 4 being vegan. So I've ate a lot of tofu.

A lovely casual spot in the surfer town. A variety of alternate milk options and vegan options on the menu. They do have gluten free bread too! And my vegan monkey toast was huge, way too big for me to finish.

Absolutely Great Place - Edit
Altough they are not even vegetarian, this restaurant sets standards for a delicious and crative vegan cuisine! We were there several times. Staff was always friendly and very well informed about veganism. And the food is by far the best I have eaten in a restaurant in the last months! Plus a good selection of local and regional craft beers, fantastic smoothies, and even vegan desserts! Prices are very reasonable. I would definitely give 5stars If it was possible!

This is the second time I have accompanied my husband on a 10 day surf trip and once again ate out every evening at Nina’s. The restaurant caters for all diets but has an extensive separate vegan and vegetarian menu (I have down loaded the vegan options). I was able to choose a different meal every night. The food was consistently delicious, the portions generous and the prices very reasonable. We also enjoyed the 4pm to 6 pm happy hour which they offer every evening. The service was quick and the staff really friendly. This seems to be the spot all the foreign surfing tourist frequent. We did not need to book but the restaurant was well patronized every evening.

The deli also sells vegan, gluten free, sugar free cookies that don’t taste like dust, and vegan smoothie power (wazoogles) to take home! All round a great place that accommodates VEGANS!!! Yaaas ❤️🍓🥑🍌
