2nd home during my stay in Hoi An - Edit
I've been in Hoi An for 2 weeks now and went to this place numerous times alone or with different friends - everyone loved it
Read moreTried almost everything of the menu and so far everything was super good.
My favourites are the dumpling soup and noodles with mock meat (with peanut sauce 3).
Also did the cooking class here - amazing. Cannot recommend it enough. Might do it again with friends =)
The owner is lovely. Always super friendly and up for a chat.
Pros: Fully vegan, fair prices

Brilliant! - Edit
Thoroughly enjoyed our meal here tonight, especially the wontons and spring rolls. The lovely friendly vegan owner told us she has been running the business for 30 years, after taking it over from her Mother.

Cheap, convenient location. - Edit
I came to this family-run restaurant 3 times. It’s perfectly located in the old town but not with old town prices. It has a huge menu with desserts as well. Everything we tasted was delicious incl. the desserts.

unreal buns, lovely host. gem of a café! - Edit
Absolutely amazing food! The steamed buns were MAGICAL, we also tried ban mhi and dumpling soup - so fresh and yummy, extremely flavourful. The lady who owns the café is super sweet and explained menu items to us. Very cheap too! 10/10 !!

Decent dinner - Edit
I had dinner here last night. I had tofu with lemongrass and tomato sauce. The flavors of the dish were good, although the lemongrass bits int the sauce made for a slightly strange texture. Still enjoyable overall. It’s worth checking out if you’re nearby.

Great place a couple streets back from river . Small Vietnamese cafe/ restaurant no frills basic looking. But the food is ace. Good variety, the 'fish' in tomato sauce was fab .tofu curry. Stuffed pancakes. Dumplings .we tried lots of things between 5 of us. Everything tasty. And cheap about £2 per plate. The owner was lovely .highly recommend .

The best in Hoi An - Edit
I ate here almost every day I was in Hoi An (12 days). The prices are very reasonable, the owner is so sweet, and the food is delicious. My favorite part is she makes fresh soy milk every day so you can enjoy a cappuccino or a hot chocolate, which is rare in Vietnam. Plus, they make their cocktails very strong.

Highly recommend - Edit
We had a very enjoyable meal here. It was very tasty. Service was excellent. Chilli sauce made by the owner was bang on. Wide choices in the menu. We had a tofu dish with a lemon grass and tomato sauce, fish tofu, dumpling soup, mock meat selection and noodles. The tofu and mock meat dishes were so yummy. Would definitely return.

Tasty, basic and honest - Edit
The owner Lyn is a nice, very open minded vegan living person thus her cooking class is highly recommended. The food is tasty, basic (non European adapted, fancy fusion kitchen as you can find in the old city) and with home made ingredients ( coconut milk, soya sauce and even the peanut oil).

Dissapointing - Edit
This place was extremely disappointing. After all the great reviews, I thought this would be an enjoyable meal but that was not so. Like some of the negative reviews I found, the food is indeed basic. The prices are not very competitive compared to some places with amazing food (Binh Hien). My Bread with Bean Sauce meal was pictured with a hearty bread, some kind of a purée, and topped with beans. What I got was a piece of basic white bread with some canned-type beans thrown on top. Just see the picture. They offer a cooking class here and it’s safe to say I’m not going to consider that. It seems more likely they need to take a cooking class themselves.

Hi Freds, I was there twice: yes it is a basic place (and doesn't claim anything superior) but very tasty compared to many other veg. restaurants in Vietnam, not very cheap but also not expensive, regarding the fact she prepares everything in her kitchen: coconut milk, soya sauce even peanut oil... I am a good vegan cook and run a restaurant. Today I attended here the cooking class with Lyn. It was very basic, easy and full of good tastes. So I don't understand how you can judge the course based on a baguette without having attended the class. And if your baguette was that bad why haven't you said anything in the restaurant and wrote this unreflective message via social media around the corner. Your review is just unfair & too hard!

Good place, nice food. You can do cooking lessons here. We just eat from the menu. It is not the cheapest but ok price. We had a really good salad, and the dumping soup was okay. Nice and friendly people and there selling beer.

Great veg options - Edit
Stumbled upon this place and was glad I did. The dumpling soup was fantastic, the local specialty cao lau was great and cheap wine by the glass. The fried cao lau was too oily for my liking. The vegetarian mock meat (faux chicken?) was interesting - covered in sesame seeds and really tasty. The owners are lovely. Great place to relax.
