Fabulous Food, Lovely Ling - Edit
We had an incredible time at a last-minute cooking class with Ling! She was very informative, teaching us about local food traditions, vegan practices, and the Buddhist way of life. The hands-on experience was fun and the food we prepared was absolutely delicious. This class exceeded our expectations, and we can't recommend it highly enough!

Amazing food and welcoming hosts - Edit
The food was amazing and very good value. It’s cash only but when we arrived with no cash the owner was happy to run me up to the ATM on his scooter😄They also saved our sunburnt daughter with a natural aloe vera rub. Lovely hosts 100% recommended, I would have liked to have done the cooking class if we were here for longer..

Incredible food and cooking class!!! - Edit
Highly, highly recommend coming and supporting Linh & her family.
Read moreWe ate here first to try the food and then did a cooking class and it is such good value and Linh is so knowledgeable. She has been vegan since birth and her parents had a vegan restaurant too.
We’ve eaten here about a dozen times now and can’t recommend it enough. They don’t use any MSG, make their tofu fresh and buy their produce fresh from the markets each day.
Pros: Cooking class, Homemade tofu, Friendly and kind husband & wife

Amazing cooking class! - Edit
Linh is an amazing and very warm person! She showed us how to cook from the very beginning - prepare tofu, soy milk, coconut milk etc. She cooks local dishes of Hoi An, which makes it a unique class that you will not find anywhere else. Never mind if you're a vegetarian or an omnivore, you will love it, I'm sure:))

Amazing cooking class - Edit
We did our first cooking class here & absolutely loved it! Ling took us around the hoi a market to show us different typical foods, then her restaurant. We made about 6 dishes and got to eat them all at the end - so delicious & so much food - save room! Highly recommend for an afternoon activity.

Fantastic cooking class - Edit
Would definitely recommend the cooking class with Lin. It was only 500k dong each and we tried 6 different dishes and went on a walk around the market. It was so interesting learning about the food, how to prepare it and a bit about the local culture as well. My favorite was the "chicken" papaya salad and that we learnt how to make tofu! I would recommend if you are in hoi an.

Brilliant cooking class, lovely owner - Edit
We signed up for the vegan cooking class led by Linh, owner of the restaurant. For 550k per person, it was such value for money! Linh met us at the market to buy some of the ingredients and take us through different produce that is vegan. We made multiple dishes together, including Vietnamese crepe, lemongrass tofu, spring rolls and coconut soup. They all turned out delicious and there was such a generous amount of food made. There were also only 4 of us in the class so very easy to learn from Linh. It was an amazing experience and Linh was a kind and great teacher! Highly recommend the class to anyone.

Great cooking class with delicious food - Edit
After having a delicious dinner here, we directly signed up for a vegan cooking class the day afterwards and it was the best we had so far in south east asia. The lady Ling first guided us through the market and explained what we need and where to get it. We also could try some things directly there, like coconut flakes and mango cake. The course itself was super, as we learned 6 dishes and all were delicious. It included a coconut soup, two types of tofu, a salad with tofu skin, vietnamese pancake and spring rolls. Ling guided us through the process super friendly and professionally and her English is very good.

Best vegan restaurant in Hoi An - Edit
It’s the best vegan Bahn Mi we had in Vietnam! We ended up going here 3 times over the week and we also did the cooking class. The tofu skin salad is amazing - tofu skin sounds odd but it’s a very good chicken alternative which isn’t ultra processed.

Comparatively average vegan food for around the area - Edit
I enjoyed a fast and friendly service. There was a great choice of vegan dishes. The taste was kind of average. The restaurant didn't much impress me as there are comparatively better choices around the area.

Breakfast Smoothie bowls - Edit
We had a mango and strawberry smoothie bowl for breakfast - they weren’t our favourite but were alright. A little too syrupy for our liking and lacking in fresh fruit.

Love their puffed tofu bánh mì - Edit
We visited Nhat Da several times for their bánh mì, which was one of my favourites in the area. The fillings are really juicy and flavourful and I particularly liked the puffed tofu. On our third visit, they gave us an enormous tub of chilli sauce to help ourselves from as they knew how spicy we liked it. We also tried a few other menu items, including their pho and a couple of other noodle dishes, but found they weren’t up to much.
Read moreI’m confused by the comments claiming that this restaurant is fully vegan, as we saw dishes on the menu containing dairy cheese, condensed milk, yoghurt, honey, and egg, to name a few. Is it possible we were given an old menu?
Pros: Lovely tofu bánh mì 🥖 , Friendly owners 😊
Cons: Non-vegan items on the menu 🤔

Amazing cooking class and good food - Edit
Not only is the food delicious but the vegan cooking class taught us a lot about authentic local dishes, vegetables and fruit. Cooking class is at a very fair price, good value for money. The owner has 20 plus years of experience, knows English very well and her family are super approachable and friendly. Definitely highly recommend eating here/doing the cooking class here.

After a long 5 days of constant travel we finally ended up in Hoi An for a few days, this is the first place we went for dinner and it was such a welcome treat! We ordered lots and it was all incredibly good, the lady who runs it speaks English and is really sweet 😊 so good that we went back the next day for pancakes and coffee! Highly recommended!

Cooking class! Vegan restaurant - Edit
This is a compeltely vegan restaurant. I spent 4 hours with the owner, Lin, for an amazing cooking class! The place was owned by her parents and has been open for 37 years! They offer a few vegetarian options before for tourists but have switched to filly vegan (as is she). I can not say enough good things about her cooking class. Firstly, the cheapest I found. Her English is impeccable. Our market visit was so so fun! I peppered her with questions about food, culture, and life and she shared so much! The dishes we made were unreal and I learned a few important cooking techniques to ensure I maximize flavours. She is so lovely! Please book here!! We also had breakfast and it's great she makes her own nut milk, cashew yogurt, mayonnaise, etc.
