good but not great

i can't compare it to the best vegan restaurants i've been to at all, but it is an ok option for the place.

for example, the hot pot is a really cool experience and the broth is really tasty. too many mushrooms and too little tofu though. mango sticky rice was good.

then, the pho was really bland and i didn't like it at all. the pancake was also really bad. the bread with hummus as well, the taste is just too different from what it should be.

Delicious and great variety

Really loved this restaurant, came here 4 times during my trip to Ninh Binh! The menu has lots of variety, from smoothie bowls and toasts, to delicious Vietnamese food. I tried the choc smoothie bowl, the coconut chickpea curry, as well as the fresh spring rolls. All delicious 😊🌿

Pros: Lots of variety, delicious, friendly service

Great Spot

We loved the food a lot especially the morning glory and the Tofu dishes and Mango sticky rice, the cheese cake sadly was not my favourite even though it Looks amazing. It’s a big expensive Computer to other Vietnamese Restaurants.

Not that great

I really wished I could've given this vegan restaurant more stars, but it really wasn't that great.

The tempeh was very dry and tasted bland (was it even marinated, I'm wondering?). The accompanied brown rice was sticky. I really don't like sticky rice with my main dish (I can tolerate it when it's mango sticky rice) and would have liked ordinary white rice better.

Service was friendly.

Amazing food!!

We have eaten here several times and it was always delicious! The chickpea tempeh is also very good. We enjoyed the braised tofu with mushroom and the tempeh with a ginger peanut sauce. Also nice that they serve brown rice as standard instead of white rice. The falafel salad tasted good there too. If you are in Tam Coc, eat here!

Mediocre and bland

We ordered the protein salad Bowl, Tempeh with peanut souce, Springrolls, cheesecake and Mango sticky rice. The Springrolls were fine but the rest tasted kind of bland. It’s great, that such a place exists but I wouldn’t eat here again when there are other options.

Go to vegan spot in Tam Coc!

We’ve practically have tried everything on this menu. The food is of high quality. The staff are great and speak fluent English. It’s quiet during the day but make sure you call or message their WhatsApp if you want a table for dinner as they get pretty packed at night. [We learnt our lesson.] This was also our go to spot for vegan versions of the Vietnamese coffee each morning. They use soy milk/oat milk which tastes great. The overnight oats are a great takeaway option if you’ve got somewhere you’re on the run. The only downside is that they open later than a regular cafe (at 10 AM). It’s also a bit setback from the street so not super obvious to find initially but once you’ve found it once, should be no issues. Google maps should take you directly there also. We also were travelling with a baby, which the girl serving us loved and had fun with which was nice.

Good vegan food offering

Tropical green smoothies was really good , the tahini dressing in the Falafel bowl was a bit bland I had to add some salt and as per previous comment there was a lot of lettuce in the bowl but all in all I enjoyed it

Great tofu dishes

This all vegan restaurant is on the Main Street in Tam Coc and is very relaxed and friendly. We shared three dishes for the two of us, but it was too much food. Both tofu dishes were amazing, one with peanut sauce and the other with ginger and coconut. Excellent!

Pros: All vegan menu, Very relaxed place, They take credit cards!

Good vegan feed

I enjoyed our meal here, the food was good, as was the service. The food was a bit more expensive than other options, however this was likely due to location.

I really enjoyed both the fresh and fried (probs the best yet) spring rolls. We also ordered braised mushroom and tofu, peanut tempeh, sushi and smoothies. The braised mushroom and smoothies were tasty, but I was not fussed on either the tempeh or the sushi, and found they lacked some flavour.

Finally some vegan food with heaps of protein

EGG ALLERGY SAFE (except spring rolls which are of unknown origin)
if you ask for the tofu dishes, be prepared for a generous serve of tofu and mushrooms. loved the flavours and choices on the menu - they accept card payments

Massive variety of food

Came here twice while in Tam Coc.

After reading loads of reviews praising the tempeh in peanut sauce, I ordered that but personally found it bland with a challenging texture.

Next time I got lemongrass tofu and verges and it was really good.

Pros: Huge variety , Fresh food

Cons: Tempeh overrated, Slightly more pricy

All vegan

One of the best vegan restaurant’s I have ever been to. A very cool vibe inside. I would recommend the banquet. Super affordable and fun to try lots of different flavours. Where you pay there is hand embroidered hair clips made locally. A warm touch.

Delicious breakfast

So far, we’ve just had breakfast here and it was delicious. I chose the mango banana smoothie and pancakes and hubby had a smoothie bowl. The pancake comes with fruit and runny peanut butter and syrup. I don’t usually like peanut butter with sweet things, but it was absolutely delicious. Service was great and the atmosphere is lovely. We also arrived at 9.45am and the restaurant was open (the official opening time is 10am). We’ll be back here for dinner and I’ll post another review or update this one.

So many options - we wanted to try everything

They have so many food choices that we could not even decide what to get. In the end we got vegan hot pot and also some sushi and both was great and a lot of food.
We can also recommend the lemon juice - it was sooo good!

Thật ngon

I can confirm that the food is indeed “ngon” (delicious). I got the falafel bowl, which was a generous size, tasty, and fairly healthy although a bit heavy on the lettuce for my liking. The menu seemed quite varied and included quite a lot of food such as falafel that I rarely see in Vietnam. Worth another visit. Only downsides are that it’s comparatively expensive, and for some reason they had a yoga/meditation song playing over and over again. More varied background music would have been good!

Pros: Tasty, Varied menu, Big portions

Cons: Expensive, Annoying yoga music on very short loop
