Pho! - Edit
I said "good soup" during my meal and nobody got my cultural reference. Anyway, Ngon has plenty of vegan options which are all clearly labelled on the menu. I don't know about anyone else, but I feel compelled to order as much vegan food as I can so that whatever restaurant I'm in feels the love. I went for the vegetable pho, spring rolls and the bok Choi. The food was lovely and very filling. I couldn't move for a while but the place was quiet so we were left to sweat out lunch in peace.

Poor choices for vegans and expensive - Edit
Firstly long list of ingredients on each option, but fails to mention peppers and onions POOR. I couldn't eat my food, when they asked is everything okay and I said no. They did nothing! Why bother asking if you aren't going to rectify and still charge?

Fantastic meal at Cafe Ngon
Read moreVietnamese cafe in town.
It was busy for a Tuesday evening. The place was buzzing.
We had:
🍜Bun chay - Vegan rice noodles with tofu, pak choi, mushrooms
🍜Pho chay - vegan flat rice noodles with tofu, pak choi, mushrooms
Lemongrass & garlic tofu - highly recommended! Packed full of flavour 😍👌
Vegetarian spring rolls (ask for no fish sauce/ vegan) so crispy

Traditional Vietnamese food - Edit
Very welcoming Vietnamese cafe with plenty of clearly labelled vegan options available and lovely decor. I opted for the fried tofu, lemongrass and chilli rice dish but just found the dish a little bland. The fried tofu was excellent though. I would like to visit again though, as other reviews I've read were very positive particularly for the Pho dish, so this may have just been an off day.

Delicious Vietnamese food - Edit
Popular restaurant with very fríendly staff and delicious food. Clearly marked vegetarian dishes which the waitress confirmed as vegan. Particularly loved the fried tofu with chilli and lemongrass and the pho.
