Vegan options. Some are odd. - Edit
The night at Ngadri started amazingly but sadly went downhill as the courses progressed. They have quite a good selection of vegan options, and I think we just chose badly.
Read moreThe first course was delicious - I had the fried cassava to start (it's not called that) and they were fluffy, potato-y pillows, with a crisp, crunchy outer, served on tomato. My other half had the garden tacos, which were tasty. For mains, I ordered the rice with jackfruit. It was ok, but I'm weird with textures and it was all a bit soft. My other half decided that the creamy cabbage MUST be good as there's nowhere to hide. He said the sauce had a nice flavour with the rice, but the cabbage would've been better as a side dish. For dessert we had high hopes for the cashew cheesecake. I was so disappointed! It was grainy and lacking in flavour. A real let-down. The positives are that they had quite a selection of vegan options, the staff were friendly and accommodating, and the restaurant itself was nice. I just didn't overly enjoy the food. I'm hoping it would be better with different choices. It was also quite pricey.
Pros: Friendly staff, Great starters
Cons: Food hit and miss, Pricey

Delicious and plenty - Edit
We ate the tacos del huerto and Carimañola as starter and Tamal de Olla and Mono Chiricano as Main dish. The website gives you a menu with pictures of all dishes. Everything was very tasty, I especially enjoyed the carimañola. It is a great place to enjoy a vegan/vegetarian version of the Panamanian kitchen. The only downside was that we ordered too much and didn't manage to eat dessert which also looked really delicious.

Many vegan and vegan options. Local veggies and fruits. Beautiful presentation and a lovely atmosphere. We would give it 5 stars if it was an option.

Definitely deserves 5 stars - Edit
This is a very very vegan friendly restaurant, half of the menu is vegan and the staff is very nice and welcoming. It's really cozy and nice to sit there, the price is also good and portions are also large. The food is fresh, professionally prepared and looks amazing on the plate. The plates look the same awesome way the do on the online menu 😍 I totally recommend eating here when you are in Boquete. It's a high quality restaurant with an amazing variety of tasty vegan food for a fair price. Maybe the best restaurant in Boquete. They served a nice appetizer as well and they have got a separate dessert menu with some vegan options that sound amazing too.

Creative vegan options and amazing cocktails - Edit
We came here for lunch and were impressed with the number of marked vegan options on the menu (which looked like about a third!) The food is beautifully presented and each vegetable in the cassava gnocchi was perfectly cooked. The cocktails were creative with some using local produce (try the tree tomato or beetroot syrup ones!) It's a beautiful spot away from the busy main road and the prices are quite good for that quality of food. They had 3 vegan desserts on the menu (like breadfruit parfait and 3 vegan ice cream flavors) but weren't available when we were there (we might have arrived too early). Recommended!

Very delicious, worth 5 Stars - Edit
We had the Tamal-like dish and the one with Jackfruit - both have been flavourful and so delicious with really fresh and crunchy vegetables, just in Point. They have lots of clearly labeled vegan options and fair prices.

There is a sign of Colobri restaurant, Ngadri is next to that sign, the name Ngadri is written on the wall above the entrance.

Flavourful entrants! - Edit
Many vegetarian and vegan options, well marked on the menu.
Read moreI can recommend the TACOs. In general, I felt like the entrants were better than the main dishes. A good combination of traditional kitchen and globular influence.
They have a very nice terrace and lovely live music was playing.

Wish I could give it 5 stars - Edit
Absolutely the best option for vegan food in Boquete! The food is unique, fresh, and beautifully presented. Almost half the menu was vegan and we loved everything we ordered. We recommend the gnocchi, stuffed yucca, and tamale. Wish we were in the area longer so we could come back. We got two entrees, two starters and Sangria for $43 (before tip). Definitely worth the money!

Vegan Tasting Menu! - Edit
We were having a hard time deciding on all of the delicious menu items because they all look amazing. We asked the server about favorites and he suggested that we do a chef’s tasting menu - vegan style. Um, YES PLEASE!! We started with the tasty house-made sangria and have five wonderful appetizers and three awesome entrees, plus fruit for desert. So full. So happy. The tasting menu was not listed but we paid $50/person + drinks & gratuity.

Perfektes veganes Essen! - Edit
(Gnocchis 12$, Vorspeise 7$, Bier 3$, Wein 7$, Fleischgericht 18$)
