I really liked my vegan "D-wich" (sandwich in a big bun) and banana bread. Vegan options were a bit limited, but tasty. I really like that this café uses bio ingredients and tries to minimise waste. Lovely atmosphere too.

La comida estaba bien, está ya preparada y refrigerada (coges del refrigerador lo que haya). Podrían haber más opciones veganas, aunque tampoco hay mucha variedad de platos, en general. El wrap estaba rico. El local es lindo y lo mejor es la ubicación, por el centro, en una zona sin demasiados sitios con opciones veganas de comida rápida.

My experience may be unique. I do not recommend that vegans in Lyon get hungry on Monday, especially not at 4pm. I don't get too desperate when hungry but had had a long foodless day and after 6 places in a row were closed on Monday, closed until 7, mysteriously closed, and happened to have nothing vegan that one day, I was ready to give up and hit the supermarket.
Read moreWhat a joy to find this bright, friendly, eco café open and with vegan food. There were not many options, but that was ok. The hot chocolate was good. They also have a selection of chocolate bars of unique flavours, the dark chocolate ones are vegan.
Now, the burger was not great, and the banana bread was about a 6 / 10, so I would not make this your Lyon gastronomical destination, however it was wonderful this lonely, hungry Lyon day for me.
Make this your Monday café.

This place looks beautiful and is in a convenient location for sight seeing. However, the service was a bit rude and unhelpful and the vegan options were very limited. What we did get didn’t taste that great, and although I have no issue with tempeh not always being vegan, it was weird that the tempeh burger had cheese all over it (my fault for not reading the label properly)

Had a Tofu burger here and a drink. The food was simple and wholesome, the coffee was great. They also promote ethical products with their own range of chocolates (which I didn’t try).
Read moreThe only observation is that as a non-french speaker, I was lucky to get a great front of house manager that walked me through the purchasing process. You select your burger from the fridge on the left and then they prepare it. Never would have worked that out - so thanks!

A bit confusing when you order - you get all food from the fridge and they add stuff or heat it up at the cash. Coffee was okay but the Buddha bowl was really good! Staff were very friendly as well. Plenty of vegan options.
