Lunch deal is good value - Edit
Vegan dishes, food is a 7/10. On the expensive side in the evenings but their lunch deal during the week is good value.

Cheap Meal - Edit
I love this place for picking up a curry and delicious samosa on my way home from work. It's cheap and hits the spot. Good selection of vegan options as you enter, it's all in display cabinets which means no waiting!
Read morePros: Fast service, Samosas are some of the best I've ever eaten
Cons: Parking, Fast Food Style - I rarely eat in

OK for a cheap meal - Edit
The food is cheap and there's a good choice of vegan curries. It very much a canteen rather than a restaurant with service and décor to match.

Vegan Indian food can be hard to get.. - Edit
Until you find Tamana's! While it is not a vegetarian restaurant, it does have plenty of dairy free curries available in a buffet style setting, the ingredients of each clearly labelled to make it easy for you. Also, no worries about dishes containing ghee (clarified butter common in Indian dishes), their website says..
Read more"TAMANA'S GUARANTEE: All our dishes are cooked in pure polyunsaturated vegetable oil with natural herbs and spices. We use NO animal fats, artificial preservatives or monosodiumglutamate (MSG). All our curries are gluten-free with a selection also dairy-free."
Furthermore, they have gluten free Naan bread.
It's cheap & informal with no table service.. The only thing that lets this place down in my opinion is the overall decor. It's a bit on the shabby side, but they do make up for it with some nice traditional artworks on the walls & delicious food.
Pros: Plenty of vegan options, Cheap & Delicious, Gluten free Naan bread
Cons: Bit of a shabby feel

Best Indian for Vegans I've found in Sydney - Edit
Loads of vegan options- more than 10 curries. Great to be able to have several on one plate since I couldn't pick. All tasty but very mild, I'd much prefer some spice. Filling, big plate of food and a drink for $11.50. Not at all greasy. It is diner style so fairly basic decoration but still pleasant.
