Local market chain; this one is near downtown tourist areas. Has a salad bar, bakery, and prepared foods. Open Mon-Sat 6:00am-9:00pm, Sun 8:00am-9:00pm.
I love the natural, Asian and international grocery options throughout the store. The salad bar is nice, and the hot bar is tempting, but the only options that appear vegetarian are fried rice (probably not vegan), mixed vegetables, white rice, and noodles. There is no tofu on the hot bar. The produce and dry grovpcery sections carry just about anything I could need.
Only grocery store near downtown tourist area - Edit
This store is a little on the strange side, as it is technically a Japanese Market, but they have plenty of health foods and specialty items in stock , as well as a plentiful, good and cheap salad bar. There's a lot of prepared food available as well, in addition to sandwiches. The produce section is really great and seems always be well stocked with fresh and beautiful produce. This is a great place to come if you are in downtown and looking for a cheap and healthy alternative to going to one of the busy pricey restaurants.

Go here for groceries! - Edit
Surprisingly decent selection of vegan options throughout the store. Prices were pretty high, but that’s Alaska unfortunately.
