Just what I needed - Edit
I walked about a mile to get there. I’m so happy I did. The place is welcoming snd has a great selection of packaged vegan products; beverages, meat and cheese substitutes, salad dressing and condiments, snack foods, and prepared meals. They also have a nice menu of sandwiches and other deli type items.
Read moreI had the chicpea ‘tuna’ melt in poppyseed sourdough bread. It was excellent.
They have a quiet, beautiful outdoor patio. The staff were friendly and the service was great.
Pros: All vegan! Super friendly staff. ❤️❤️, Nice selection of vegan products, Fair priced food.

Great little spot - Edit
Cute and close to the beach/boardwalk. Everything is vegan. They have an outdoor patio, and they also sell refrigerated/frozen and dry foods.
Read moreI got the bagel with cream cheese and a mango smoothie. Both were excellent.

Pricy but good - Edit
At $12 the chickpea "tuna" sandwich is pricy, but it's fresh and flavorful. I also got the chocolate croissant, a chai latte, and a tasty sparkling beverage from the cold case. This is a decent stop if you are in Venice. They also sell vegan products - mini grocery store style. And the back patio is a very nice place to sit.

Good food - Edit
This restaurant’s food is good if you like cold food. Their noodles, sandwiches, raps, are all cold. I am not a big fan of cool food but other than that I really like that place.

Good pastries but terrible gluten-free muffin - Edit
I didn't buy anything from their grocery section, nor did I browse it, so my review is only on the cafe side of this place.
Read moreLet's start with the positives: the pain au Chocolat was nice and just how I remember it tasting from my non-vegan days, the matcha latte was also good and the outside seating area has a very nice atmosphere.
Now the negatives: the gluten-free muffin was terrible and I almost felt embarrassed that they're selling that as an example of vegan baking (I know being gluten-free free baking can be challenging, but that doesn't excuse the terrible taste and texture of this muffin as there are plenty vegan places that can bake amazing gluten-free cakes). It's also expensive and I'm not sure the quality justifies it.
I'd probably give it another shot just to see if they have other good pastries but I wouldn't try another of their gluten-free baked goods even if they paid me to do it.

Not worth it - Edit
The pastry items are not fresh and overpriced. They offer a nice outdoor space but you are only allowed to be there for an hour even if it’s empty.

Good but not great - Edit
Good product offering and the sandwiches are good, but not the most creative or tasty. Everything is pretty expensive and service is slow.

Not worth the journey - Edit
The Matthew Kenney places are so hyped up, but this one didn’t live up to my expectations. The lox bagel was sparsely filled, the carrot lox was mediocre and in general I missed the attention to detail.

There's a Starbucks not too far - Edit
There's a big selection of vegan junk food on the shelves. The patio in the back is really cosy, however the food is not enjoyable and overpriced.

Wow! Excellent food! - Edit
Mostly a store with all vegan products, but also has a smallish medium sized menu with healthy delicious food. I am mildly blown away. The kids even ate the tuna and egg sandwich and loved it.

Great breakfast after jogging on the beach - Edit
The place is great. The beach is couple of steps ahead. The patio is cozy. Ideal fo enjoying the breakfast after the sports activities on the beach. We can recommend the avocado toast ( with real european bread) and cheese bagel. The coffee is also good. The supermarket has a lot of vegan gourmet food and cosmetic.

Spacey and friendly - Edit
First of all, the location isn’t bad once you know it - but you won’t ever just walk up and think ”let’s go inside” as you will need to find it among the recidental homes.
Read moreThe shop is very spacey and they could easily have lots more in the shop. I was really hoping for cheeses to try, but they didn’t have any of the non ordinary.
They serve sallads and sandwiches. They have kombucha on tap. I had the Cob sallad which was very good (loved the ranch dressing) but small portion. I really dislike being served my sallad in a plastic container, aren’t we all cutting back on the plastic?
Never had a snickerdoodle cookie before - it was awesome. Willneed to learn how to make it!
Pros: Friendly staff, Beautiful flavours
Cons: Pricey, Plastic containers when eating in the restaurant!

Little gem, but check labels - Edit
We had a vacation in Venice beach and stayed in a place a few doors down from here, so it was wonderfully convenient for us to grab some supplies and breakfast. The staff are very friendly, and the seating area is nice. Most things are a little pricey but the convenience was great. We found a beer that has dairy in it and a juice with honey, when we alerted the staff the items were promptly removed. Worth checking labels.
