Bar and bistro, opened Mar 2014 replacing the previous veg restaurant R15. Hosts live music. Drinks are available all week, but food is only served on Fridays from 7pm onwards, with a KüFa (kitchen for all) concept. Everything is vegan. Register interest before visiting so the amount of food needed can be calculated. Open Wed-Thu 18:00-23:00, Fri-Sat 18:00-01:00.

Lecker und abwechslungsreich

Hier gibt's immer vegane Optionen. Die Küche wechselt regelmäßig häufig gibt es auch rein vegane Wochen. Das Essen war bisher immer lecker. Die aktuellen Gerichte findet man meistens auf dem Instagram Kanal.

Nice place to drink beer and have good snacks

This is a really nice place if you want to hang out and drink some Beer, and have some good and creative vegan snacks. Or if you want to go out dining, but aren't too hungry. Then you will get creative cooked food (considering it is a bar/bistor with a living-room atmosphere, not a genuine restaurant) and a nice experience.

Don't go there if you are really craving for food. You will not get satisfied unless you order more than one main dish and spend lots of money, because portions are quite small.

If you are heading to Neuland and recognize that you are really hungry, I recommend going to the Five Star snack bar / takeaway first, that is right next door (Rottstr. 17). Have one of their indian-pakistani meals (most of their vegetarian indian-pakistani meals are vegan, don't miss the garlic naan!), and after that go to Neuland and have a great dessert and some beer.

Awesome place for vegans!

Despite them serving meat, Neuland is an awesome place to go for vegans! It feels like a vegan restaurant which also offers a choice of food with meat, not the other way round. There were 3 vegan starters, 5 vegan mains and 1 vegan dessert. There was only 1 dish with meat and one non-vegan dessert. I was there with others who would have eaten meat at other places, but they chose vegan choices because they sounded much better to them.

Mains were about 8-10 Euro, and all sounded very inventive and great. This cabbage risotto with mushrooms was divine and the 'vegan catch of the day' (pastinak sweet potato purée on Kohlrabi) was great as well.

The atmosphere is lovely, it is an old pub with living room furniture, but also nice restaurant tables. Staff is both friendly and very helpful.

Go here if you are with people who need to be convinced that vegan food tastes great, but also if you just want to enjoy some great vegan dishes!
