Trouble Controlling Myself (Again) - Edit
I’ll be the first to admit that I got a touch too excited when I discovered what lay within at this store. As it was near to where I was staying, I thought it would be an ideal place to stock up on some essentials and maybe get a treat or two. There was the usual array of milk alternatives, soya yoghurts and hummus (hummuses? Hummi?!) on offer, but what I wasn’t expecting was the array of freshly made baked goods and sweet items. As alluded to, I bought just about one of each thing I could find (not all, though!) and eagerly scarpered back to my accommodation. All the bread items were superb, especially the onion focaccia, and the star of the sweet items was most definitely the cherry tartlet, although the cannoncini were excellent, too. Not everything was a hit, the bullseye biscuit was a lacking flavour in the dough itself, but the jam just about managed to make it passable.
