Favorite Vegan Spot!

Native Foods is my favorite Vegan spot. Their food is always excellent and the service is great! The Vegan meatballs, nachos and desserts are favorite. I recommend this spot to all Vegans and to people who aren't Vegans, their food is so tasty, I think it can appeal to anyone's taste buds.

Pros: all Vegan, you don't have to guess or reread the m

Cons: none

Just okay

The burger wasn’t super flavorful and they gave me a different bun from what I ordered. The fries were a super small portion too.

Been to Native Foods near LA and it was great so I was kinda bummed about this one😒

Cons: $17.54 for everything in the attached photo :(

Good Food

I’ve had some good food here, but I have also had issues with horrible customer service. It seems to be an epidemic of the pandemic, sadly. Nonetheless, it’s a solid choice for good vegan food, just not the best of the Native Foods Chain.

Nachos are my go to dish here.

One of the better Native Foods

I have been to Native Foods all over the country. The Hyde Park location is one of the better ones I’ve been to. The jalapeño burger was really good and my brother loves their oatmeal cream pies. It’s no Veggie Grill, but a solid vegan option when you need one.

Pros: Desserts, Nice location , AC and indoor seating

OM-Burger Heaven

Native foods was so delicious we went back the next day inside of trying a new place. We had the brisket burger with fries and hot wings. When I say I wish we had this restaurant in TN is definitely not an understatement.

Pros: Lots of great flavors, Burgers and wings were delicious

Cons: Pricing , Not in every state , Parking

Delicious dining

100% vegan comfort foods, well seasoned, good sized portions, moderately priced. Very friendly knowledgeable personnel. Clean, serene, contemporary space in busy area. Order at counter, meal brought to your table. Drink, water station. Part of small national chain. Previously I had tasty Nashville burger & sweet potato fries at the Palm Springs, CA location. Today I was overjoyed by the awesome Orange Cauliflower! Lightly breaded fried cauliflower florets over a bed of mixed vegetables & tofu scramble. Highly recommend!

Pros: 100% vegan deliciousness, Well seasoned, good sized portions, Moderately priced

Cons: Busy area so parking can be a challenge

Excellent Choice!

Very nice restaurant. Food and service was great! I didn't want anything real heavy, so I tried the Backyard BBQ Bowl and it hit the spot! I'll definitely revisit.

Delicious, Solid Prices, Great Service

My fiancee and I shared a lentil soup, the special "Peri Peri Chi'ken," and some fries. Everything was excellent and the servers were thoughtful and attentive. Look forward to returning!

tasty and convenient

If you're in Hyde Park, this is a great location for a quick and easy all-vegan meal. I've eaten at several Native Foods in Chicago, and the food is consistent (and good) from restaurant to restaurant. And, of course, it's great to be able to order anything on the menu!

INCREDIBLE

This is by far the best vegan food I’ve had since going vegan 2 years ago. Super delicious! I highly recommend the Thai Chili Cilantro Crispy Wings and the Chicken and Waffles. Both are amazing!

First time here...but not the last!

I went here this evening after not being treated well at another vegan restaurant.

The staff was very nice and the food was delicious. I ordered several items and held my own taste testing party. Everything was very good!

This is my first time but it will not be my last!

Pros: Very nice staff, Great selections, Reasonably priced

Cons: Parking difficult to find

Great option for Hyde Park

I visited two locations of NF during a recent trip to Chicago. Unfortunately, I found this one did not measure up to my experience at the LA (Westwood) location or at the Chicago (Wicker Park) location. The food was good. I ordered the tacos. Perhaps it was foolish to expect LA-quality tacos in Chicago. The tortillas just did not taste the same as LA tortillas; the fillings were okay.

The teas were very tasty, and fresh mint leaves were available. The have free refills on drinks.

My (non-veg) mom had ordered too much food, so I was able to taste some of her leftovers. She ordered a giant salad with tons of avocado. The salad and dressing were good, but I rarely order salad in a vegetarian restaurant (that's what I have to buy from "meat" places). The edamame hummus was only so-so. My husband ordered the bacon cheeseburger, and it was very good.

My mom was staying at the Hyatt a block away from the restaurant, so the location was ideal, in a strip of new businesses that have sprung up in Hyde Park. It is really close to the 53rd Street Metra Electric commuter train stop, which was good, since my husband and I were staying at a hotel near O'Hare, and all of us were without a car. If you are visiting the "South Side," this is a good option.

Pros: free drink refills, familiar menu, friendly service

Cons: tortillas just not as good as in LA
