Malaysian vegan food

Almost every dish has a vegan option. The vegan seitan is some of the best I've ever had. The chef is very particular and careful with work spaces and separation.

Amazing Food

I first discovered Nasi Lemak during lockdown as Jimmy (the owner) did deliveries around the Manchester area. We went to the restaurant for the first time yesterday and the food was amazing. Most of the dishes are suitable for vegans. The Tofish Bao Bun was one of the nicest things I've ever tasted. I also had the Vuck and rice (pictured) which was soooo good. They also have vegan desert options but I was far too full by that point.

Nasi Lemak at Scarlet Door

Nasi Lemak has been an established business in Manchester for years moving from takeaway to a regular at markets and pop-ups around the region. They now have a home at Scarlet Food in Heaton Moor. Great Malaysian food with a lot of vegetarian and vegan options. #Veganuary
