I am COMING BACK, MAN - Edit
I cannot put it into words how much I love a vegan restaurant that specializes in hungarian comfort food. That somlói galuska made me astral project, it was the most delicious piece of dessert I have eaten in my life.

The best vegan restaurant period - Edit
I didn’t know what to expect and while arriving I was overwhelmed with the class of the restaurant. It is by far the fanciest and looking at the menu got me puzzled as to what should I order. At last we ordered two plates. It was delicious and fresh and all in all perfect. It was a pity they didn’t have coffee to go with the cakes we took (also unbelievable) but the explanation that the place puts a high standard on health made sense.

I had a traditional Hungarian stew which was recommended by my waiter. I’m so pleased to have chosen this as it was absolutely delicious. I will always return here when I’m in Budapest 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Amazing vegan local cuisine - Edit
This gem is off on a quiet side street. The restaurant is cool, and well spaced out. The smoothies are fresh and amazing. The mains (gyro platter, falafel platter) were very good, but the Napfenyes platter was some of the most creative and tasty takes on Hungarian cuisine I’ve ever had. And even better than that is the sponge cake for dessert. The staff is very helpful and everything here is well worth it. Some of the best vegan food I have had anywhere in the world.

All you need - Edit
Anything you could really wish for. You can choose between traditional Hungarian or international dishes. I had the delicious Gyros Platter and can highly recommend it. Don’t forget to also try one of the many cakes. Tried the Dobros and a lemon cake. Both have been amazing.

Good pastry - Edit
We liked the pastry (Dobos and especially Gabaud cake, seems typical Hungarian). Main dish the platter for 2 was Ok but nothing special. Lemonades were good. Service friendly, atmosphere nice.

So Delicious - Edit
This place was so good! We got the Napfenyes bowl and it didn’t disappoint. The slaw! The chutney! The whole thing! Just wonderful. Their strawberry “cocktail” was so refreshing. I got an extra to go.

Came back for seconds the next day - Edit
Got the platter with everything the first time then came back the next day for the Hawaiian pizza. Both were really great. Wide variety of options available. Sponge cake was good but I preferred their savoury options, maybe because I was so full by the time the sponge cake came out. Smoothies were nice but wish they were a bit colder.

Very tasty! - Edit
Very nice place with air conditioning (rare here) and various and tasty dishes. We ate the cutlet risotto with soy and peanut sauce, it was delicious. We shared the Caesar salad and my husband ate the seitan stew which was just nice.

Lots of choice, I went for the lavish platter which was lavish indeed! Bit of a shame all the empty outdoor seats were apparently reserved when we were there but would recommend, food was yummy!

Nice more old style vegan food - Edit
Lovely little place on a quiet street in a lovely area of Budapest. Food was nice, more old school style vegan food - fried stuff with sides. The fried cheese though was really delicious and portions were big. Outdoor seating too and a bakery inside.

Wonderful place - Edit
Very nice and quiet and not as touristy with great and comparatively cheap food. I had this platter that had a lot of different things and apart for one of them I liked all of it. Apparently the pad thai was also really good. Lovely staff too, tried to teach me some Hungarian pronunciation 😉 definitely go here when in Budapest!

A Must for Vegans in Budapest! - Edit
I've been vegan for almost 30 years so I am especially excited when I find a sit-down vegan dining experience. The dining room was well appointed with attention to every detail. The menu was easy to navigate in English. The service was attentive and not overbearing. I had the Spring Garden soup with grits dumpling, the platter for 1, caramel ice cream, and walnut apple pie. Everything was spectacular! I plan to return several times before I leave to try the other dishes. Bravo!
