Limited vegan flavors

Small gelato shop with only two vegan flavors when I went. My partner and I tried the two flavors: vegan Belgian chocolate (super rich) and cucumber mojito sorbet (initially refreshing followed but a sour aftertaste). In both cases, it was hard to finish a small cup size.

Yummy, interesting flavours

Good stuff! Usually there are two vegan options. They keep it interesting by rotating flavours every 2 weeks. I’ve had unconventional flavours like grape, pear, Belgian cookie, walnut, pistachio almond, etc.

They once asked me my opinion on a new vegan flavour they were making - basically an oat milk version of something they normally made with almond base. I was given a sample and a pint of the experimental flavour at a discounted price. This happened on a day they weren’t very busy - normally there is a big line so I don’t expect this is the norm, but it really shows how they’re constantly trying out new recipes!

Vegan ice cream!

Great dessert spot near Bloor and Yonge. There are always at least two vegan options available for scoops (usually one is sorbet, one is ice “cream”), and more vegan flavours are available to buy by the pint. Flavours change bi-weekly. This ice cream parlour can have long lines, but it’s worth waiting to get a scoop of the ice cream. I’ve had the pistachio, piña colata and a strawberry sorbet. All were good and not noticeably vegan. Fair prices—around $6 for a cone.

Pros: Rotating flavours, Creamy, tasty ice cream, Great location

Cons: Long lines
