Pretty Weak Options - Edit
As others say, veg curry or daal are your two options here. Unfortunately both the rice and naan have dairy.

An option in a city with limited choices - Edit
Asahikawa has very few options for vegans. This place is close to the main station. Only one option is vegan; the vegetable curry with rice. You can get the dal curry without the butter if you want a second dish. The naan has butter and egg in it. Prices are reasonable.

Delicious and good value - Edit
This was very tasty and freshly prepared. I’ve been to a number of Indian-style paces in Hokkaido and this exceeded the others in terms of flavour by a considerable degree. Try the potatoes! I need to seek gluten free food so my rating and appreciation is probably biased by this food also being predictably and predominantly gluten free.

Cons: Not many vegan/vegetarian options, Cash only

Very good - Edit
The food was delicious and the staff was lovely! The vegan options are daal, curry with vegetables and salads. Unfortunately the amazing looking naan contains milk and eggs.

Smoking and food is a no-no. - Edit
Very few meatless options. I had a lunch special (B-set) of daal and mixed veggie curry plus a humongous and very delicious naan for ¥900.
Read moreIf here for lunch, I would suggest you either get the lunch special A-set with mixed veggie curry for ¥800 or the C-set which is the same as B-set, but also includes a lassi of your choice for ¥990.
I wanted to give them four, but smoking is a big no-no around food.
Pros: Friendly, English-speaking staff.
Cons: Very few veggie options., It's allowed to smoke in the establishment.

Delicious - Edit
The meal I ordered was called Ladies Set. It contained a curry of your choice, a huge naan bread, a green salad, a roti and a small dessert. It was delicious and very authentic. Unfortunately, most of the curries were containing meat. So you don't have a lot of possibilities as a vegetarian or vegan. Nevertheless I would very much recommend this place for every non-meat-eater staying in Asahikawa, also because of the very friendly staff.
