best vegan entree ever - Edit
I have been vegan for 8 years and this has by far been my best experience. The small plate, appetizer, and entree were incredibly flavorful. I had the crispy mushroom rice and it was incredible. My partner eats meat and loved his entree as well. The service was very attentive and friendly.

Not good - Edit
I wanted to like this place; the restaurant had a nice vibe and I’d heard good things about it. I got the orecchiette via carryout, and couldn’t believe how small the portion was. They also forgot to add the chickpeas, which was the protein for the dish. The pasta was really dry and the only flavor was heat. For a $21 entree it was really disappointing.

Pleasant vegan surprise - Edit
Four stars based on KY vegan options. Very west coast inspired. Lots of fresh veggies, also a nice surprise. Service was great. Full bar coffee options.

Underwhelmed - Edit
I was in Louisville for business and decided to try this place based on the reviews. Sadly I have to admit to being underwhelmed. I ordered the cauliflower with hummus, kale salad (without cheese), and delecata squash entree with added chili tofu. Only the kale salad was truly good. Everything else was just meh. The cauliflower and squash were both bland. The tofu was oddly excessively battered and fried and was extremely salty (and I love salt so it’s a lot if I say that). None of the flavors of the dishes melded together or were anything special (steamed cauliflower, baked delecata squash). Healthy and vegan - yes. Particularly tasty - no.

Service ruined the experience. “Out of” vegan tasting menu - Edit
Explicitly asked for appetizer, then salad… instead overwhelmed with all dishes at once
Read morePros: Tasting menu intriguing , Cute setting , Nice outdoor area
Cons: Served all food at once, Out of eggplant, so only one entree choice

Upscale - Edit
Came here for dinner on a Friday night, definitely a more upscale dining experience. We sat outside on the patio, which was very pleasant. Vegan options clearly labeled and they have a few to choose from!

Hipster Brunch - Edit
This was a wonderful find! I had a mimosa flight, featuring blueberry, orange, and grapefruit mimosas, and the avocado toast, which aside from the avocado toast I make myself, mmmmmm, is among my top five, so far. My boyfriend had a passion fruit margarita with chili salt and a breakfast sandwich with a vegan sausage patty and Just Egg scrambled egg. We loved it.

The Absolute best - Edit
My wife and I eat according to Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn’s “Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease.” Essentially everything we eat falls under fruits, vegetables, whole grains and legumes. No oil either existing or added, nothing enriched or processed. To say the least, it’s challenging to go out to eat with an expectation that your restaurant choice can create a compliant meal that you can eat.
Read moreNAIVE is truly the best place to go whether you have special dietary needs or not. They take your order serious and produce an extraordinary meal with immaculate service.
COVID-19 UPDATE: It's been about 8 months since my wife and have been to NAIVE and when we walked in today, I was floored when the wait staff remembered us and remembered precisely how we eat. They really made us feel like they care about us and the way we eat. Additionally, we were very pleased to see adequate social distancing, mandatory masks being enforced and an all out effort to make sure their customers are safe.
Every time we visit NAIVE, it keeps getting better. I tried to give 5 stars but the app won't let me.
We love you guys.
Pros: Customer service and perfect quality food the way.
Cons: They no longer make their Green juice. Good stuff.

Unique & Abundant Vegan Options - Edit
So many vegan options on the menu; a welcomed departure from avocado toast or tofu scramble! We split General Tao’s cauliflower. It’s a side plate, but huge portion. The cauliflower florets were huge, crisp and delicately coated. A bowl of chana masala soup,a menu special, was spicy and filling, consisting of a tomato purée loaded with whole chickpeas.

Great place! - Edit
Loved the service and ambiance.
Read moreSome of the food was out of this world. I had general tsos cauliflower that was one of the best things I've ever eaten. The rest of the food was okay, but not as stunning.
Pros: That cauliflower... And the coffee., Service and great people.
Cons: Expensive, and location isn't ideal from downtown., Not everything is as yummy.
