A great little find with good variety

We have been seeking a Japanese restaurant in our area for a while and aside from just eating avocado sushi or a soy or miso ramen it can be a bit limited.

This small restaurant however was recommended by flexitarian/vegan friends who stumbled upon it. It is a very nice restaurant, only seats about 20 or so people, very pleasant and accomodating staff so nice atmosphere all in all. Good fresh japanese style decor.

A good selction of options are available across the whole menu. Entree's provide for salad's, eggplant, edamame, tofu and spring rolls. Mains are 2 x Vegan Ramen's with Konjac Noodles, Udon soup (prepared without fish stock), Sushi Roll (avocado and seaweed salad) and a teriayki tofu don. Deserts are a bit limited with only ice creams. Tempura is off the list for Vegans because it has egg in the batter.

We tried the Spciy Tofu, Eggplant, Veg Spring Rolls and and the Vegan Coriander Red Ramen. All of these were good and tbh reasonably priced for a meal these days with everything being under $20 which is pretty good value. Portions are a good size, the soups are a good bowl full, the Entree's are as one would expect for Japanese cuisine, they are modest and well presented.

The spring rolls I suppose were a bit dissapointing at two pieces for $10, OK but certainly not earth shattering.

You can actually jag parking on the main street if you keep your eye out. Easier during the week than on a weekend.
