What a find! - Edit
Great experience and food here. We half-expected Tony Soprano to walk in - it’s so authentically Italian in that way. But they are way ahead of the game with their extensive and thoughtful vegan menu. And! They really seem to care about getting it right and satisfying their vegan customers. Friendly service, too.

The lasagna is to die for - Edit
My favorite thing on their all-vegan menu is the lasagna, which has delicious homemade ricotta and comes covered in a red gravy that you haaave to dunk your bread in. The brussels sprouts are also very delicious and garlicky. The only consistent problem I've had with Mrs. Robino's is that they are often missing some of the vegan menu items, so if you try to get the vegan egg sandwich, or the caprese stack, for example, you'll be out of luck most of the time.

Great Italian American restaurant - Edit
They have a separate plant based menu-all you have to do is ask for it. They have vegan options for every category but deserts. Bring you’re appetites as the servings are surprisingly large
Read moreWe split a caprese stack (vegan mozzarella, tomato, basil and balsamic) and crispy Brussel sprouts to start. I got the lasagna which included house made ricotta.
It was all very well cooked and well seasoned.
They also serve fresh Italian bread and have olive oils on the table for dipping.
Would totally return if I’m ever in Wilmington again.
Pros: Separate menu, Large portions , Well-seasoned

Meh food - Edit
The food was so-so. Pasta was not al dente- both the pasta and veggies were mushy and overcooked. The veggie meat was fine but nothing special. Service was great.

Amazing food! - Edit
Quality, authentic vegan Italian is hard to find. Yeah, there's plenty of pizza joints that can make vegan safe pizzas, if often without cheese, but Mrs. Robinos makes it all in house, with fresh ingredients, and it shows. We had the hot peppers and the Brussels as apps-- both were good, but the Brussels were perfection. I've never had better sprouts.
Read moreFor the mains, we had the rigatoni (which was lovely) and the vegan lasagna. The lasagna was the star of the night. The cashew ricotta was perfect, and the sauce terrific.
One note: YOU HAVE TO ASK FOR THE VEGAN MENU. The normal menu they give you has some, but not all of the vegan items listed. The vegan menu is a separate thing they need to fetch.

Classic restaurant w/vegan options - Edit
This Little Italy spot has a fairly large vegan selection besides their established menu. My wife got me a Sausage(Beyond), Long Hots, & Ricotta pizza and it was great! The white pizza base had enough of the toppings to satisfy and the price was fair. Definitely going back for some of their other offerings!

Great variety of Italian - Edit
Make sure to ask for the plant-based menu when you enter! They have it all: pizza, pasta, sandwiches... VERY nice portions for what you pay for, not to mention bread refills. Very cool to see a century-old place keeping up with the times.

A true taste of Italy - Edit
I went here all the time as a kid (pre-vegan) and was so happy to find out they had a vegan menu. The lasagna was fantastic and the Brussels sprouts are my favorite!

Great Vegan Italian Food - Edit
I've been to Mrs. Robino's twice now, and both experiences were great! We had the vegan caesar salad, vegan lasagna, beyond sausage and peppers pasta, and cashew vodka sauce. All large portions, reasonably priced, and DELICIOUS. The lasagna and caesar salad were my favorites. Also has a full bar with inexpensive house wines. Will definitely be back! Would have given it 5 stars, but they serve meat so Happy Cow will only allow me to give 4.

They got 2 ⭐️ only because of the Vegan Menu. - Edit
Was super hype to go to a traditional Italian restaurant with a full vegan menu.
Read moreOrdered:
Caesar Salad - Lettuce was a Little Brown and old. The “vegan bacon bits”... not sure what that even was? Dressing was ok.
“Crispy” Brussels Sprouts. They were anything but Crispy... soggy, browned but they were swimming in oil that made them very soft and soggy. Flavor was good.
Angel Hair Pasta with Marinara and Vegan Meatball. Pasta was Spaghetti, not Angel Hair and there was at least a 1/2 cup of pasta water in my bowl like soup. After I drained all the water it resembled more of a pasta dish. “Meatball” was smaller than a golf ball...kind of dry and flavorless. I looked at the next table and they got 2 massive “real” meatballs with their dish at the same price. Sauce was not very flavorful.
All in all it was quite a disappointment and I unfortunately won’t be going back. I can make much better food at home.
Pros: Vegan specific menu
Cons: Bland food, Not very fresh, Slightly over priced
