Sensational Toasties - Edit
The moment the Breakfast Toastie landed on my table I knew this would be a SENSATIONAL meal. The flavour & texture of this toastie was faultless. I just loved it. 🙌🙌🙌 Then I had to try the Gelato, OMG the texture, so smooth & creamy, again the flavours were sensational.

During our short time in Wollongong, we have found Mr. Booch (previously known as Booch Bar) to be a delight, referring to both the café, and to Mr. Booch himself, whose raw passion for Kombucha is matched only by the Kombucha itself.
Read moreUpon entry, we were greeted warmly, and offered a small number of free samples to help adjust our taste to his delicious range. Each flavour we tried was better than the last, ranging from sweet and sugar to complex and tart. We gladly left with a few bottles to take home (at a very reasonable price), and will be back!
Supplementing these delightful home made drinks are a number of delicious toasties, all of which are vegan, and amazingly may be made ‘deconstructed’ which is a very welcome surprise!
We highly recommend Mr. Booch - a unique experience with great food and even better kombucha, truly a one-off in the Greater Sydney area! #Veganuary

Recently vegan, found this lovely place via the app and was not disappointed. The selection of booch was incredible and the food that we had (toasties) were excellent. Owner was extremely friendly and although swamped with customers did an amazing job to get food out quickly but also tending to everyone that was arriving. We will be back without question.

Great range of meals, gelato, and kombucha to choose from, as well as snacks like sausage rolls, cupcakes, cheeses, and raw treats. Everything I have tried from here has been absolutely delicious, and at a great price too. They also offer reusable glass kombucha bottles for purchase. The owner is extremely friendly and passionate about his work. All round a fantastic environment and a welcome addition to the Illawarra.

The Booch Bar is a great little place with a huge range of kombucha on tap with refillable bottles for purchase. I've tried a fair few types and all of them have been awesome. They also use the kombucha to make gelato, again, heaps of flavours, all delicious.
Read moreOn top of that, there is a good selection of light meals like wraps and toasties which are made on the spot, and an assortment of goodies such as cheese, sausage rolls, cupcakes etc. Some of which they distribute for other buisnesses (Tyromancy Cheese, Herbisaurus). All of which is vegan.
Everything is reasonably priced and the owner, Mick, is a really nice guy who's always up for a chat.
Definitely recommend.
Pros: All vegan, super tasty, nice staff.
Cons: Would love to see more meal options!

Really enjoyed the pulled jackfruit toastie. Had a nice spice to the jackfruit. The Buddha bowl was also delicious. The owner was very friendly and allowed us to sample as many kombucha flavours which were on tap. Price was very reasonable too. Highly recommend

Came in today and had a terrific time. Me and my wife ordered a sausage roll, brekky burrito, and the pulled jackfruit toastie. Everything was delicious! The brekky burrito was so amazing, I was scared that I was going to have to fight over it. Then we had a bite of the jackfruit toastie and wow! It was fantastic the jackfruit was some of the best prepared I have had and we ate all of it despite it having beetroot, and that's saying something as I hate beetroot.
Read moreAfter eating we came back inside and talked to the owner for while. Very nice guy, definitely makes me want to support him by buying way too much food. Bought another sausage roll for the road and a raw raspberry cheesecske which we just finished eating at home. Suprise suprise that was delicious as well. I also ended up sampling some of the Kombucha gelato which was fantastic, I think I am going to get some next we go. All in all a fantastic find and additional to the Illawarra. Me and wife are now just upset that we didn't find it sooner.
