I cannot get enough of Mowgli’s food - Edit
There is a separate vegan menu, with many options on it. Their Indian street is very tasty. I like the vibe of the restaurant too.

Good, nice and had vegan menu - Edit
Liked it, had a vegan menu, plenty of choice, but on the expensive side. Beers are expensive and you just get a can, no draft beer.
Read morePros: Plenty of vegan options (ask for menu)
Cons: Bit expensive , Beer not draft, but get a can

A must visit if you’re in town. - Edit
We had the vegan tiffin each that gives you a rice dish and 3 curries to try. We also threw in a bhel puri, some fancy fries, and some roti’s. This was a lot of food, but was manageable between a party of four.
Read moreOur tiffins came with a potato dish, a chickpea curry, a lentil dhal, and a ginger dish.
All the food was excellent (the chickpeas and dhal in particular!!). A separate vegan menu which was well-labelled (including the wine list).

Great vegan/vegetarianfood - Edit
Traditional Indian food such as daal is my favourite food so for that Mowgli is 5 stars, their food and flavour for me is very authentic. They have their own vegan menu and their food is amazing. However, as veganuam is growing I think a meat substitute for curries would go a long way, even soya pieces could replicate this. In terms of the dining experience its quite a unique interior which I love and overall i’d highly recommend for a visit.

Amazing - Edit
A great selection on a separate vegan menu. Food is always fresh and delicious - so much so that I forget to take photos! Highly recommend for a date night or special occasion, and best to go with someone who will appreciate the tapas-style portions and share a few dishes between you.

Great Indian food - Edit
Mowgli serves delicious Indian food and has a separate vegan menu. There are a few bigger main dishes but I recommend you choosing some smaller dishes together with the people you're going and then share them. Food is served in traditional tiffins, metal boxes used in India, which makes a great experience.

Great menu, great atmosphere - Edit
It’s totally not food related but I gotta mention it - the rope swing seats look fun but they can be tricky to eat out of! Now that’s out the way...
Read moreMowgli offers great Indian food at a fair price. There are a couple of true main dishes to choose from but mostly it’s a tapas style affair where you order 2-3 smaller dishes to eat which I’m a big fan of as you get to try more food. The tea steeped chickpeas on some puri is easily one of the best dishes you can find in Birmingham. Other favourites include the tangled greens and potato curry.
What I really like about Mowgli is that it feels a bit more of an experience, even if it’s only the novelty of your food arriving in a 4 dish tall tiffin that is deconstructed before your eyes by the staff. The decor is relaxed and the staff are attentive and quick to take orders and deliver food, though drinks can be a little slow to arrive.
Pros: Good vegan menu, Fair pricing, Can reserve ‘rope swing’ seats in windows

Great vegan menu - Edit
We visited for my birthday weekend and I got the vegan tiffin for one (three currie pots and rice), it is described as a mix of four vegan dishes and carbs but the carbs are the rice so order bread additionally if you want it. It would probably work out the same price if not cheaper to order the items separately but we couldn't decide what to order. The food was absolutely delicious and very aromatic. The portions are small so it is recommended to order a few items but none of us finished our tiffin selection so two or three would probably be adequate as opposed to four.

Delicious! - Edit
I went for a pre-theatre meal with my mom who’s an omni. We chose a variety of vegan dishes between us to share and they were absolutely amazing. We definitely ordered way too much food but I found it so hard to stop eating because it all tasted so good!

Cool place with some swinging chairs hanging from the ceiling! Food comes as it’s ready rather than all at once and it’s normal to have several dishes per table. Recommended :)
