A solid choice

I was passing by on my way to the pub, and decided the aloo paratha would make a nice pre-beer lunch (hey, it was my birthday. Please don’t judge!). It looked lunch-sized, but was impressively substantial and did the job. Gently spicy and filling, I was set up for the day.

There were only a couple of seats by the stall, so I went to the nearby Princes Street Gardens to eat with a spectacular view of the castle.

Pros: More food than it looks, Good value for money, Great views

Cons: Little seating, but near a big park
