Vegans not very welcomed - Edit
I hate to do this because I LOVE the ambiance, beer, staff and owners, BUT vegans can really only have a couple salads and hummus/salsa/guac. None of the crusts are vegan and there is no vegan cheese.
Read moreThey could really do a lot of good by changing a few ingredients or adding a few more options, but I've learned not to hold my breath here.

terrible for vegan - Edit
Unless you want an ok salad, they don't offer any other vegan options. You can't even get a cheeseless pizza since none of their crusts are vegan.

not vegan but they try - Edit
If they have vegan cheese - ask for light on cheese as vegan cheese makes pizza soggy. Love the white pizza - my favorite. Ask for vegan options and ask for comment card - if we keep asking = vegan purchase power = things will change!

An Anchorage tradition - Edit
When I moved to Anchorage, I was told I HAD to visit the Mooses Tooth. It is always busy and you can usually expect to wait a few minutes. There are both indoor and outdoor waiting areas, as well as a bar where you can usually get immediate service. There is a brewery - they also brew their own root beer - and gift items as well. Growlers are available and there are often new brews and special events. The food is good and plentiful. Prices are competitive. Both a family friendly and date place. If you visit Anchorage, visit the Mooses Tooth.
