Fusion restaurant, offering vegan options - Edit
This fusion restaurant, has a clearly labelled vegetarian labelled menu. The helping staff can identify which can be made vegan. Option of both indoor and outdoor dining. There live music too. Great place for a relaxed evening meal.

Nice food on our first night in Colombo. At the end of a mew’s with nice restaurants aimed at tourists. Asian fusion style with plenty of vegetarian options.

Good food, helpful waiter - Edit
Waiter understood what vegan meant and checked with the kitchen to be sure. I was excited to try the black pepper tofu based on other reviews, but the waiter was sure it contained butter that could not be removed. He confirmed the pad thai could be made vegan, and it was really good. It comes medium spicy so if you are sensitive to spicy foods, you’ll want to specify that. I also had the pineapple chili margarita, which was delicious. Ambiance was nice, they had really good live music!

Really tasty restaurant and most of the staff knows what vegan means. I have the "official" list of what can be made vegan. The black pepper tofu is the absolute BEST! The gado gado is rubbish though, literally raw veg in a bowl.

upmarket vegan dining in Colombo - Edit
Family of 5 vegetarians + vegans had dinner. This is an upscale restaurant in beautiful location - in a fairy lit lane. There were enough vegan options to satisfy us and the pockets of beancurd were particularly tasty. Price was ok - Expensive by Sri Lankan standards but reasonable by UK standards. It is not licensed but we were offered beers which we realised after they went elsewhere to buy and they were expensive as were the kids moçktails.
Read morePros: good quality food , beautiful setting, city centre location
Cons: some drinks were expensive
