Lovely restaurant with phenomenal pupusas in OCC. Four different vegan options with various vegan toppings. My fave was the vegan carnitas & vegan cheese with two sides of plantains and roasted jalapeños.

Great Flavors & Spice - Edit
Stopped in finally after reading a lot about the place. Unique and great flavor. Sizes are huge! Got two vegan pupusas and that was a bit much for one person. Staff was super helpful with the menu and I liked spice and the sauces and sides a lot (get the plantains!). Long wait but a nice spot.

Accidentally gave us a real cheese pupusa - Edit
The pupusas are as big as your head. Ordered all 5 vegan varieties thinking they were arepa sized. They gave us a non vegan one by accident, luckily it was easily identified by the cheese leaking out the side. The nachos and vegan cheese were super delicious.

The food here is great! We had a long wait but definitely worth it. Tried a pupusas with vegan “beef” that was made from jackfruit. I haven’t a lot of jackfruit surprisingly but this was quite good! They also have vegan bakery items at the front including vegan berry cakes and banana bread. The vegan vanilla berry bread was soft and sweet. The portions were good and filling and lots of great vegan options ! Would try again !

Everything I’ve gotten, I have really liked. I also love their Agua frescas, especially in the summer. Everything is gluten free too which is nice! There is usually a wait so be prepared for that.

A ton of vegan options and everything was delicious. This week is restaurant week, so they had a few specials and we ordered the giant empanada with vegan carnitas and a side of beans. The filling was SOOOO good. The beans rancheros were also amazing; the flavor was great. Also had two pupusas, mushroom potato and soyrizo cheese. They were both delicious. I would definitely come back here!!

This is my favorite restaurant in COS. I have tried all of the vegan pupusa flavors and love them all. The pupusa Colorado is one of my favorite items, which is smothered pupusas. I literally cannot rave enough about this place. Do yourself a favor and go here.

Have been to Monse’s multiple times and cannot recommend it enough to anyone looking for good local spots to go. The whole menu can be made vegan, and is already fully gluten-free which is a win for me. When they are offering breakfast it is to die for - and their alcoholic drinks are killer.

OMG, Monse is the cutest, sweetest, most welcoming person! She doesn’t know it yet, but we’re best friends already. Her husband is also so nice! And the food!! It’s so delicious! My husband and I went for dinner on a Friday night (the vegan pupusas with the vegan pastor on top were bomb!) and we learned that they serve breakfast on Saturdays (the ENTIRE breakfast menu can be made vegan!) so we went back the next morning. We had the French toast and the potato skillet with soyrizo and both were delicious, especially the skillet which was also HUGE.

The food is amazing and there are so many clearly labeled vegan options! If you’re hesitant about trying Pupusas for the first time, just do it! I had never had one before but I would 100% come back. I got the soyrizo with vegan cheese and it was to die for!

The food here was incredible! More than half of the menu is vegan and all of the sides are vegan. The service was incredible and the owner(?) was incredibly friendly and explained every menu item throughly. The portion was MASSIVE and the prices were fair. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and hey have indoor and outdoor seating. Good for people with allergies as well, because the whole menu is gluten free.

First of all I'd like to say the vegan food I got was delish and they have so many options I was really excited about. BUT, I ordered the vegan queso with chips, it came out and first bite I was like, woah, this dip is unbelievablely good..I was suspect of it not being vegan but the waitress assured me it was. So I ended up asking another server later on if I could buy to go containers of the queso. Welp, later when I get home and look at the queso I bought, sure enough she got me the vegan queso but the one I ate at the restaurant was NOT Dairy free. So that was not only a big let down but I ended up not feeling well after. I will still be eating here though and want to try it all. Not going to hold one mistake like that aginst them. Just one of those things as a vegan to always look out for! And If you are a vegetarian...I recommend the queso! 😆

The vegan queso they have right now is amazing!! We have gotten so many vegan things here and everything has always been amazing. The green Chile and pinto bean pupusas are the best! Their agua frescas are also a must try.

Cute restaurant with very friendly and helpful staff. The vegan options were clearly labeled and there were lots of them! I had three different pupusas and they were all delicious (and they were huge). When I ordered, the host asked me if I wanted vegan sour cream with it! The fried plantains I got as a side were also very good (I've been looking for some ever since I got back from Puerto Rico and these hit the spot). The mojito I had was also right on point. If I could give this restaurant five stars, I would!
