Be careful. - Edit
Today was the 2nd time visiting this restaurant after seeing reviews on here we liked it the first time enough to come back. Ordered similar dishes to last time however, this time after ordering the vegan truffle cake (and checking with staff twice that it was vegan) we tucked into it and noticed something different scattered over the top, asked staff to check with kitchen what it was -only to find they had put Cadbury flake over it (non vegan). My husband has a dairy allergy and is now in pain from the experience. They apologised and didn't charge us for the dessert but to say we're disappointed is an understatement and we will not go back after this.

📝: this is a very handy place to where I live. But when looking at reviews from previous it looks like they have changed the menu and you have to specify that what you want is vegan and not vegetarian. I’ve still to try a dessert so can’t comment on that as of yet

Lovely atmosphere - Edit
I was really pleased to stumble upon this place when searching for somewhere in Coatbridge with vegan options. They use Tesco meat free mince in the bolognese (not Quorn, they're going to update their menu). The hot chocolate fudge cake was delicious, and portions were generous. I think they've had the same vegan menu for a while though so hopefully with more demand they'll add new options soon!
