Worth the wait - Edit
We went about an hour after they opened on the weekend and it was quite a long wait, but the food was AMAZING! A vegan michelada was a treat and we started with the nachos, which I will dream about. The tacos are small street tacos that pack a flavor punch. Would definitely recommend stopping here for drinks and food, but maybe make a reservation because it’s a very small space with no outdoor seating.

Been there a couple of times and it's one of my favourite spots in Barcelona. Everything has alot of flavour and nice presentation, staff is always great.

Read moreThe menu has different options for tacos, nachos and quesadillas. The food is full of different colors and combination of vegetables. I wish the portions were bigger for the price, however the food and the spicy sauces are very tasty, as well as the vegan cheddar cheese. Lastly, the stuff is great and the place is super cozy!

Lovely food and nice, little place. Could have been a little bit cleaner (tables and seats), other than that we really enjoyed our food. But be aware: The portions are small, you'll need to add some appetizer if you want to be satisfied. Prices are okay.

Travelling in Spain and stopped here for dinner. The whole restaurant is vegan. Very cute spot, and good food. We got the vegan chorizo quesadillas, and the Alambre de heura. The Heura was listed under nachos so we thought it would be said style but was actually tacos. Still very good, just confusing for us as travellers. Would recommend stopping by for good food.

Shared nachos, tacos and a quesadilla. Food was really tasty and filling but wanted to try it all! You could probably get away with just the nachos to share if you weren’t particularly hungry. Great flavours!

The homemade nachos were like none of ever eaten before - dipped in the black beans just heavenly. The Baya California (cauliflower) tacos were crispy and well seasoned and the sauces amazing - though the spicy one was almost too hot even for me! Fab little location with nice decor and friendly staff. A must go-to when in BCN.

As soon as we walked in we were greeted with the biggest smiles and seated straight away. Monchito serve the BEST margaritas in the gothic quarter. they also have both vegan and meat options on the menu.

A taste of Mexico in Spain - Edit
Cool spot of the beaten path. It almost hidden amongst the tiny streets of the gothic quarter which adds to its charm. Fully vegan menu featuring tacos and an assortment of Mexican appetizers. I tried the Estilo Baja California tacos and they were great; delicious flavor and good texture.
