Momo Valley Saves The Day!

Without taking time to scan the entire menu, this ravenous vegan was on a quest for one thing, and one thing only: SOUP!
With Kitchen & Coffee's kitchen now closing at 4pm daily instead of 5pm (one more thing to add to the growing list of reasons why K&C is no longer my go-to in Beacon,) I knew there'd be no chance in h**l of getting a hot anything there on this chilly autumn day, and so I'm happy to report that Momo Valley came through! Delicious, hot, and comforting lentil soup with a side of Jasmin rice was the perfect answer in the form of take-out (the place was packed anyway) and sorry, no photos - I was too hungry and tired, after a busy afternoon of offering back-to-back readings at today's Psychic Fair.
I'll definitely have to check out Momo Valley next time I visit Beacon.

Pros: Friendly Service, They obviously know what "Vegan" means

Cons: Prices more like NYC (the norm in Beacon now)

So much love for this place

There’s a separate vegan menu! The veggie momo in tomato/onion soup is probably one of the best things I’ve ever eaten, tied with the gundruk soup. Be sure to order an oat milk chiya!

Beacon Highlight

Stumbled in here very hungry after a hike. Got the vegan platter and vegan mono, both were delicious.

Separate vegan menu was much appreciated and great service.

Hard To Describe, Tasty Though

Food from other cultures is difficult to describe… IMO this one is a must-try! Friends suggested this place (we might not have tried it otherwise) and joined us - we were impressed with the food!!

MUST VISIT. Amazing food!

Momo Valley is one if my favorite restaurants period, not just in Beacon. They are extremely vegan-friendly with a whole separate vegan menu. They don’t cut corners on it, either - you will get the full experience right down to vegan homemade chai (chiya) which is frustratingly hard to find at South Asian restaurants. I love Himalayan food, and I have yet to find a restaurant that serves food this delicious and wholesome (ever tried gundruk soup? It’s mind-blowing - fermented greens!) and served by people who are devoted to what they do. Can’t wait to return.

Pros: Gundruk soup, Vegan thali 😍, Vegan chai omg

Cons: Nothing! Please open more locations 🥰

Delicious meal

The food was very flavorful. The service was very good and personable. Had the Dal Bhat Tarkari (vegan platter) and an order of steamed Momos. Pictured are the Momos with a spicy dipping sauce.

Great vegan dumplings

Not a vegan establishment, but they do have a separate vegan menu. The dumplings are amazing, and we often get takeout just for those. The other dishes are also quite good and well portioned.

Best vegan food in Beacon

They have an entire vegan menu and everything is so delicious. Only down side is service can be slow when it gets really busy but it’s worth the wait.

Half vegan menu

Momo valley was super busy when we visited, so the wait to get our orders taken and to get our food was LONG, but SO worth it! Luckily, we caught them the day before they went on hiatus.
The menu is 2-sided, and one side is completely vegan, including noodle, rice, and veg dishes, as well as momos (of course!) and chiya made with oat milk.
Unfortunately, they were out of vegan momos for the day, but we ordered the vegan chow mein, and it was phenomenal. Perfectly flavorful, featuring seasonal veggies, and served with an optional hot pepper sauce. Everything was delightful, and we can’t wait to go back!

Pros: 50% vegan menu , Food is wonderful!

Cons: Long wait

A full vegan menu! Good/unique food

Never had Himalayan food before. It’s very good, and I was super pleased to see that the entire backside of the menu was vegan. Pretty much everything on the vegan platter was great, and I liked the momos too. Good dinner spot (the interior is very bare and plain white, but still seems like a nice spot for a dine-in meal)
