There are a lot of vegan options here, and everything I've tried has been delicious, comforting and flavoursome. The vegan Momo Jhol is my current fave - steamed momos in a delicious tangy sauce/soup kind of situation with your preferred spiciness level. I got medium, because medium spice on some of their other things is pretty hot, but it seemed milder in this dish so I'd probably go hot next time. Friendly and efficient service.

What can I say, I love momos and I'm happy Momo Central opened a branch in Brunswick. Their multiple vegan options set them apart from other Nepalese restaurants, of which there are many in Melbourne. My favourite accompaniments to a steamy plate of dumplings are bhatmas sadeko (crispy fried soybeans with raw red onion, coriander and spices) and, surprisingly, chips chilli (deep fried frozen spuds tossed in a sweet and sour style sauce). Maybe not everyone's cup of tea but I encourage you to try it!
