Love this place!

I've been coming to Moandave for over a year now and I never get tired of the desserts which are all vegan and some gluten-free. In the winter, they have a delicious, rich choco strawberry cake, and they have cookies all year round. My favorites are the lemon earl grey, lotus, pumpkin, peanut butter and jelly cookies, choco madeleine, and choco brownie. I love the atmosphere in the shop, it's very cozy. I adore the mother and daughter who own it, they are so sweet, welcoming, and generous! If you are ordering coffee, make sure to specify soymilk since they also have dairy milk.

bomb cookies

these cookies were SO good! they looked good so I had high expectations, and they weren’t let down. the best one for me was the mugwort cookie, but they were all good. i’m definitely going to go back and get more.

the cafe is run by a mother and daughter (mo and da) and they are newly vegan (ve).

i asked the owner why they have cows milk there if they are vegan and she said that non-vegan people come looking for it. it’s just a shame that they don’t make plant milk the default.

the daughter encouraged me to bring a take out container next time, and they wrapped everything in paper rather than plastic, which is very welcome.

the prices are very reasonable as well!

definitely will be going back.

Pros: cheap

Cons: cows milk default
