Mixt - Edit
My review from 2016 is below. I've tried mixed a few more time and my opinion never changed. There are many better places in SF.

Unreasonably long wait, underwhelming, $13 boring vegan salad...and the avocado wasn't even ripe. I bet you can't name one person who likes hard, tasteless avocado...and if you can, that person has unique taste. I would not recommend.

Solid vegan options, fresh, local and fairly paid workers - Edit
Mixt is my favorite place to get a fresh salad or grain bowl at lunch time downtown. They have vegan sald and bowl ideas on the menu or you can get whatever you want. They have tons of veggies and fruits, quinoa and other grains, edamame, peas, and tofu for protein, plus nuts and vegan dressings. The portion is generous and you can order online to skip the line. Workers receive fair wages, all of the materials are plant based and they have a rewards program. Yes, the salads cam be between 12 and 15 dollars, but they are fresh, local and organi,. Very worth it!

Favorite lunch place - Edit
I never tire of their Ritual salad. It contains arugula, red cabbage. tofu, rice, avocado, spicy peanuts, mango, carrots, cucumber and scallions. It is tossed with a carrot ginger dressing. This salad is huge and filling because of the density of the vegetables. I can eat this for lunch 3 days a week--it is that good.

There are better options - Edit
The salads are large and they have a nice variety of fresh seasonal ingredients but they don’t do a good job of avoiding cross contamination between vegan and non-vegan ingredients. The last time I ate there I ended up with 3 pieces of cheese in my salad.

Cons: Staff isn’t careful
