Great ramen - Edit
I really really liked the vegan ramen option. It's true that it's the only vegan option, but it's done really well. I haven't had good ramen since moving here so it was a nice surprise. I went on a weeknight and it wasn't too crowded, but it definitely gets packed later on.

Extremely Limited, Uncomfortably Close - Edit
A fine Japanese ramen restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere, entertainment, and decent service. The menu does right by clearly denoting vegan and vegetarian options. Unfortunately, there is only one (1) vegan bowl on the menu, and though it is delicious, it doesn't reflect well on the ability of an individual to revisit the restaurant. Aside from that, they also serve edamame.
Read moreIn addition to the issue of vegan variety, Misuta Chow's can be cramped and potentially anxiety-inducing. Getting from one place to another, such as to the bar or to one of the many upstairs arcade machines, requires weaving through a dozen people without much space to do so. This tightness is a part of the charm of the spot's aesthetic, but it could also be a reason to avoid, if you aren't interested in testing your claustrophobia.
It's a sit-down party place, and I wouldn't recommend it without company.

Pros: Menu marks vegan and vegetarian options, the truffle and miso mushroom ramen is great.
Cons: Only one vegan ramen bowl, cramped and potentiay uncomfortable, several broken arcade machines.

Questionable - Edit
The first time I came here, I was really pleased with the vegan ramen. It’s a pretty cool place with bunches of arcade machines to play after you eat or while you have a drink. However, the second time I came here the service was terrible. The bartender seemed annoyed that there were more customers despite me bringing the business of about 10 people in. They then told me the ramen can’t be vegan because of the noodles (despite it being listed as V* on their menu) and then walked away without letting me try to order other food. The menu still denotes VEG for vegetarian and V* for vegan option but who knows.
