A couple of vegan options - Edit
Looking for vegan options in the area was challenging but we found this place and I'm glad they had a vegan section on the menu. There was spaghetti, vegan burger and the vegan meatballs, which I wanted to try.
Read moreThe vegan meatballs came in with a side of some sort of salad. It was a bit dry but there was some mayo (vegan, I hope) at the bottom. The meatballs came in a generous tomato sauce that made me think I should have ordered bread. The sauce was tasty if a bit salty. The meatballs had a nice bite. The side of chips was ordered separately.
The price was a bit steep for the small portion, but I suppose this might be the standard in Belgium.
The service was nice, they were knowledgeable and they spoke good English. They gave us a complimentary appetiser and for me they gave me a shot of gazpacho, which was tasty and beautifully presented.
If you're in the area, this is a safe option for vegans.

Gezellig terras, vriendelijke bediening. De amuses waren aangepast. Ook de mayonaise werd automatisch vervangen door veganaise. Niet super veel keuze, maar wel een lekker degelijk aanbod.
