Diligent cafe - Edit
I often call in here with my son for brunch on Saturday mornings and sit in the window, watching the hustle and bustle of Westgate Street. The staff, service, food, location, ambience are all great.
Read moreIt's the only non-vegan place I can think of where my confidence in them is so high, that whoever is on shift, I no longer need to check if they definitely put vegan butter on the toast, or definitely made the latte with soya (I'm looking at you, Boswells - you put a fried egg on a vegan breakfast two times too many). Misters 100% know what they're doing and clearly take pride in what they do, even putting little vegan flags on the plates when they leave the kitchen. Haven't had a single issue with them.
Only slight gripe is I wish they'd stop asking me if I want any "extras" on my avocado toast: poached egg, some flesh or other, etc. Apart from that, and the fact that they're not fully vegan, I can fully recommend this place. Definitely one of Gloucester's better options in the absence of a vegan cafe.

Great place in the heart of the city, with nice menu and also Sunday Carvery (with nut roast and veg gravy).
