Amazing tacos! - Edit
We tried a variety of tacos and the pollo nachos at Mis Tacones. Everything we tried was delicious and flavorful. I loved how each taco felt unique! We could tell all the ingredients were high quality. The space was small but cozy, welcoming, and beautiful. The waiters were all friendly and helpful! We are excited to come back and eat here again next time we are in Portland!

Nice spot! - Edit
Cute place with a good sized menu. Had the asada burrito. It's big and delicious. Lots of things on the menu sounded good. There are thoughtful touches throughout, including free feminine hygiene products and bandaids in the bathroom, and free stickers and candy on the counter. Had a decent amount of outdoor seating in the shade.

Best Mexican food - Edit
I lived just across some Mexican border in San Diego for 35 years. Once a month or so I would pop over and get some of the best Mexican food. There were some vegan Mexican places in Tijuana, and this stuff is on par with the best of the best. You were tempted to finish our plates, but wanted to save some for later. This stuff is so good.

Everything is AMAZING! - Edit
This has been on my list for such a long time and I was excited to finally get to try them out. I got the chimi burrito, not fried, a frijoles taco, and my husband got the asada taco only because he had a late lunch. We also ordered two drinks, the Lyn May and the Tesorito. Everything we got we loved so much. And the staff was super friendly even while being really busy. Read another review that said they weren’t. Maybe it was a bad day. I live a couple hours away but will definitely be back when I’m in the area next.

Grabbing veglife by the tacones - Edit
What a treat ! This place features a full-on vegan menu that is actually reasonably priced. We delighted in all 3 tacos and all 3 empanadas. The patrons next to us had burritos and they looked gigantic (the burritos that is, not the patrons). We ordered the sweet empanadas on the way out, and we discovered that the lovely owners treated us to 2 extras on the house. Can’t wait to come back to try all the rest !
Read moreUpdate — came back a second time after being picked up at PDX. Tried the torta Al Pastor, delicious ! My friend got the chimi burrito. I think they bake it and the wrap comes out with the most sensational crisp. I hear the Ahogado is similar but with sauce on top. Decisions !

Loved everything about this restaurant! The staff was really nice and friendly. My wife and I enjoyed a couple of house margaritas and there Paloma’s! I ordered the La Chimi and some how finished the whole thing, it was massive! My wife ordered a couple of empanadas, they were so tasty! Highly recommend trying this amazing Vegan Mexican restaurant out!

Great big burrito! - Edit
We have been wanting to try this place for a while and we are so glad we did...the food was amazing. I got the biggest and best burrito ...we decided we should've split it because we both took half home. Although secretly I was glad because then I could eat it for two meals and enjoy it again 🙂😊

Delicious queer Mexican food - Edit
Not a super expansive menu but it's all vegan! As a Californian, the Cali burrito was just what I was craving, but we also loved the asada fries and chimichanga. The red salsa is habañero and super hot, which was perfect! They have a few draft beers and a small cocktail list. It got pretty busy around 7pm and the limited staff meant ordering took about 10 minutes and the food another 35 minutes, but the drinks came out quickly. Would go again, although when less crowded as both indoor and outdoor seating were completely full and we had to eat elsewhere.

Great tortillas and nachos, big portions - Edit
The corn tortillas were so fresh and flavorful. There's 3 choices of seitan: Al pastor, asada, and cilantro limon. I got la chimi and my boyfriend got nachos Al pastor. Both were really good, and were still good reheated, since the portions were huge. Also, trans POC eat free!

Amazing food! - Edit
I was so happy when this pop up turned into a restaurant! Mis Tacones is now fully open, and updates on times can always be found on their Instagram. The owners are very sweet, and their food is amazing. Full of flavor. No blandness here! Coming from Texas, these are some of the flavors I grew up with that no one here in PDX has quite managed to nail for me until now. An instant favorite. 🙌
