Awesome Vegan Lunch Buffet

Their lunch buffet is $18 and is offered on weekdays (minus Tuesday when they are closed) from 12:00 - 13:30. It's a fairly small window of opportunity so you'll have to plan around to enjoy this vegan buffet. As far as I know, this is the only true vegan buffet in the South Bay.

Some of the menu options that stood out:
- Spring and Summer Rolls (really delicious and peanut sauce is available)
- Fried rolls, wontons, and fish cake
- Steamed veggie baos (loved this!)
- Stir-fried spicy beef (your typical soy/seitan meat in a tasty sauce)
- Yellow vegetable curry (great taste and went well with white rice)
- Sweet & sour meatballs
- Garlic noodles (this was one of my favorites!)
- Steamed bokchoy and cauliflower mix (simple but good for more veggies)

For the variety, I would say it's definitely worth it. There are a lot of mock meat options so I wouldn't say it's necessarily the healthiest meal, but you can't expect that an an AYCE buffet lol. If you are with skeptics of vegan food though, this is a fab place to take them.

Make sure to go hungry so you go in for an extra round or two. Now that I've had this, I think I prefer ordering a couple of dishes with friends to share - but if you are eating by yourself or with maybe one other person, this is a fantastic option to try a variety of their foods.

Pros: An actual vegan lunch buffet, Plenty of parking

So much variety!

Been here twice. I’ve tried the lettuce wraps, chow fun, pad Thai, curry, tofu rolls, Malaysian noodles, hainan “chicken”, Pho. The pad Thai was one of the worst I’ve ever had. And my fave was the Malaysian noodles. I’d give this place a 3

Not-So-Vegan

I asked for the peaceful curry with brown rice. The guy who took my order said that the vegetarian chicken was not vegan, so he’s going to substitute it for just tofu. I called back because I found the vegetarian chicken in my dish after eating a piece. The guy said the kitchen messed up, and I asked why it wasn’t vegan (it felt like eating a chicken body part), and he said “because it has dairy.”

Why is it considered desirable or necessary for a mother cow to be exploited like this? Make all of the ingredients vegan! It’s not that hard! This is so disturbing and during my lunch break!

Food With Bugs

I used to LOVE mint & basil. I went ALL the time. Until I got a bug in my pho. I thought maybe it flew in there by accident- you know, giving it the benefit of the doubt. Happened again with my fresh rolls. The food is phenomenal but filled with bugs. And they offered to give me a discount. I think the health department
needs to give a visit.

Great experience

First time at this restaurant and the food was delicious. Nice, quiet ambiance. Good location with plenty of parking. Would definitely return and want to add this to my regular restaurants visited

Pros: Food is really tasty

Cons: Too many faux meats

Nice but primitive

It was good, but somewhat overpriced. Rice and greens with soy sauce for $12, seriously? I expected something more... complicated.

Pros: Menu is clear, easy to find vegan options , Tofu is really good

Cons: Expensive

It’s not bad

There are many food options here!! The orders are more on the expensive side ($10 ) but that’s because the portions are huge so I’d come here to share with somebody else!! When I came here I had the fried tofu appetizer and it was perfectly crispy and hot!! My friend ordered the Pad Thai and I split it with her and it was pretty good!!

Pros: Expansive Menu, Big Portions

Cons: Food comes out a little cold, Can’t customize some of the dishes
