We’ve been Here multiple times now, the changing menu with the seasons is great. The Food is original and delicious, drinks are really good.

A very happy birthday indeed - Edit
I go out for meals often, but usually save the ones I’m really intrigued by for my birthday. Ministerie van Geluk was one of those. I made a dinner reservation for the first Supper Sunday event they hosted and mentioned that my father wasn’t really into animal textured/tasting food.

The restaurant itself is very pretty, but I would probably ask for a table upstairs next time as it’s very noisy on the ground flour. I opted for a pornstar martini as a drink which also comes with some bubbles on the side. The first course was their crispy sushi, then a garlic gazpacho that I forgot to photograph, broccoli tartar, basil orzo and we finished it off with a dessert platter. My dad didn’t like most of it, as expected, but maybe it wasn’t the best idea of me to reserve a table during a set-menu night. Service was quite slow, but I really liked all the dishes. My favorite was probably the soup or the tartar, even though I’m not really a garlic-fan and most dishes were (a bit too) heavy on garlic.
I think I will be paying this cozy restaurant a visit again, but only when there’s a menu that’s more to the taste of all of my family members (and they get to pick their poison)😉

Worth a visit to Zoetermeer - Edit
I was not expecting such a nice vegan restaurant in Zoetermeer of all places. Interior looked like that of an old Dutch farmhouse. Creative dishes with nice twists. The Gozleme with Redefine lamb was my absolute favorite. Japanese loaded nachos were something I would never have thought to make myself. Also tried the cheese platter and krokante sushi which were very nice as well. You can also order food to share and the restaurant will arrange menus divided into portions for sharing.

Dessert: Chocolade crème brûlée. My love of chocolate was reinforced with this disarmingly sweet dish.

Ministerie van Geluk is a cute restaurant in Zoetermeer. The food is great, but sometimes portions can be a bit small (also for a small dish). We were there at a busy time, so the wait was quite long, but the food was very tasty and worth the wait. I definitely recommend the 'geluksbier' as well.

Lovely place with great food. We were with 3 and shared about 8 dishes, from fried cauliflower 'fish' and gamba bao bun to smoky eggplant and oyster mushroom coquilles. The food was amazing! Unfortunately the waiting time was rather long. Too long, we skipped on the dessert. Therefore 4 stars. But definitely worth a visit!

Despite two less favorable pieces on the cheese platter, overall, the food was exceptional and worth the slightly higher price. However, the service was a bit lacking with incidents like a spilled glass and forgetfulness. The staff lacked enthusiasm and failed to provide insights into the dishes served, missing an opportunity to enhance the overall experience. Finally Vegan in Zoetermeer! - Edit
It's been a long time coming, but at long last Zoetermeer has its very own fully vegan restaurant. And while my expectations were not too high, they definitely exceeded them on both my visits there. The staff is very friendly, the ambiance is super "gezellig", and of course the food is mostly amazing. I had the New Meat (made with Redefine Meat "steak", something truly crazy realistic if you miss the taste and texture of steak) on the first occasion and the Geluksburger on the second. Both were very well made and quite filling. Also the appetisers were original and made with love. I particularly recommend the Loaded Nachos, it's "nacho" average nachos😁

We had such a lovely evening here. The menudos interesting and original and the food is very tasty. It also has a great atmosphere and friendly kind staff.

The starters were quite filling a tasty mushroom and potato dish and a ‘cheesy’ bread.
The main course ‘new meat’ would impress any carnivore and the gnocchi was very tasty indeed. We also had dessert and drinks! Can’t wait to come back again!

I was very eager to try out Zoetermeer's only fully vegan restaurant, and it seems to currently be a bit of a hype in town as it was filled to the brim. It was lovely to see that this restaurant is very popular, as I'm always happy to support vegan businesses. However, my experience on the whole was disappointing.
Read moreThis restaurant does not seem to be coping with its success very well, as the service quality was rather poor. We waited for an hour to get our starter, and then another hour for our main course. We barely saw our server and they were also not really that apologetic about the insanely long waiting times.
Luckily, the food itself was tasty, but it was overpriced. The prices could be more justifiable if the service made up for it (but sadly it didn't).
I do think the place shows potential so I would probably give them one more chance in a few months' time, hoping that their processes will have been adjusted sufficiently to make going to this restaurant an actual enjoyable experience.

Eerste geheel vegan restaurant in Zoetermeer. Iets voor de ethische vegan om met familie heen te gaan zonder dat ze allemaal dieren eten. Elke vleeseter die mee ging toe nu toe is fan. Heel vriendelijk personeel met aanbod vanuit allemaal cuisines. Ik vind het eerlijk gezegd wel prijzig voor over het algemeen niet de duurste ingrediënten, maar ook weer niet veel duurder dan uit eten gaan op de meeste plekken is.

Delicious and adorable - Edit
I had the Flammkuchje voor starters, this was the absolute best and I wish I had finished with this one. For main I had the gnocchi, again delicious, but couldn't top the starter. II finished with the panna cotta, which was not fantastic. The taste of the caramel was too strong for my taste. In behindside I shouldn't have ordered it, because I was already full enough. But overall, it's a great place. We were all jealous of what others had on their plate and tasted that. You MUST go here.
