אכלנו במסעדה זוג וחמישה ילדים. הצ׳יפס האגרול והפטריות המטוגנות היו מצוינים, אבל הפיצות היו לא טעימות ונשארו על השולחן כפי שבאו, בעיקר בגלל תחליף הגבינה הדוחה. שילמנו במסעדה פי 4 מכל המסעדות שאכלנו בהן בויאטנם. מסעדה יקרה מאד בוודאי לערך האוכל שבה.

Required taste? - Edit
This is a beautiful place, huge, and completely empty when we were there. I was really looking forward to this place, unfortunately I didn't like the food at all... It might be a more "adult"/required taste place or it might just not be perfect. It felt like the ingredients were just mushed together.
Read moreWe got the fresh spring rolls which had a fishy tofu and a pretty overwhelming amount of mint in it, and the dipping sauce tasted of honey.. Then the tempeh/green banana which was super savory and tasted like leek soup. Then we had a salad which was alright but the chickpeas was super dry and for the price not impressing at all.
So make of it what you want, if you need a fancy restaurant maybe try this?

This place is excellent. It's a bit more expensive than most but worth it for a treat or special occasion (and to put this in perspective it's not _that_ expensive). For about $10 I had two dishes and a freshly squeezed juice which was more than I could finish. The Bun Cha is really tasty. Beautiful spot in West Lake.

I went to this particular Minh Chay a few times and oh my goodness. Hands down the best vegan restaurant in Hanoi. This place was a 3 minute walk from where I was staying and was my go to for dinner. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The food itself was amazing, having both Vietnamese cuisine and Western. If I ever go back to Vietnam, i'll most definitely be coming back here for some vegan goodness.

We enjoyed our recent meal here. They have a modern Western style restaurant, somewhere you can have a good meal and a business meeting. Food and service were good and they let you stay as long as you like without bothering you....

Wow. I travelled to five Viet cities in two weeks and the food at Min Chay was the best I had - by far. Super fresh, amazing flavors, made with care, and outstanding presentation. I ate there twice and will eat there one more time before I leave tomorrow.😊😊😊

Unfortunately, although it all appeared to be vegan, I got the summer rolls and the fried spring rolls take away, and neither were very nice. The summer rolls I actually threw away because they had an awful taste and the mushrooms were like rubber. It was heavy on the rubbery mushrooms in the spring rolls too but they were more edible.

The place is way too big for its few customers, but it's beautifully designed! The main seating area is open to the outside and there's more seating upstairs and in the back.

I didn't enjoy the atmosphere that much, but it's still a great, very quiet restaurant!
