Great Little Hideaway

Found this gem just up the road from the port. Carla, the proprietor, makes delicious vegetarian and vegan food. I had the lasagna made with crispy bread, and the ginger and red lentil puree. Both were great, and very light to digest when it's so warm in the day time. Had a glass of bio-wine as well. Very high quality food of local and organic origin. I would go back to try some other dishes.

Pros: Relaxed, peaceful environmnet , Very fair prices

Cons: Not in the port, if you want to look at the boats

Delicious vegan sweets, non-dairy milks and packaged cheeses!

We just got off the ferry from Athens and walked a few moments to find this great restaurant and little organic market. Great vegan options! We split a piece of mocha cheesecake, apple cinnamon cake chocolate tart. They were all excellent! The owner told us that he was making a vegan lasagna if we were hungry later.

Pros: Vegan options (packaged for take away/picnic), Friendly owner, Shaded patio, plenty of seating

Magical food and owners of this lovely restaurant and store!

A truly genuine and wonderful place. They were incredibly flexible and could arrange vegan options even beyond the menu. Served both vegan and non vegan dishes. Incredibly wonderful owner, we ate here both lunch and dinner several days in a row. Missing already the exquisite pasta .. bruchetta.. sallad etcetc. and the vegan dessert!
