Good donut option - Edit
Mighty-O Donuts serves up solid cake donuts that are pretty good, especially when paired with their excellent coffee. They didn't seem super fresh, but a quick 10 seconds in the microwave made them delightful! The chocolate nut donut was a standout!

Great coffee - Edit
Mighty-o donuts are always good if you like cakes donuts (a bit too sweet for my taste but that’s me). Their coffee is always excellent too.
Read moreThe Capitol Hill branch isn’t my favorite to hang around in - while the staff are capable and friendly, the tables are very often dirty and there are occasionally bad smells around so it’s a hit-and-miss experience.

they walked so dough joy could run - Edit
Mighty-O seems to be doing amazingly as a company, so I feel very little guilt in admitting that I'm very, very rarely in the mood for these old warhorses of the vegan donut world. I'm pleased that our people have multiple vegan donuteries to select from; I don't select these. In part, they're a victim of their own success, with many coffee shops carrying them, often as their only option, and sometimes in trays that clearly sit out overnight--the association of "reluctant solo option" is strong after over a decade in Seattle. I've had every flavor a thousand and one times and (woe is me) and, weak human that I am, I crave novelty. They are made offsite so you will never really catch them fresh and warm, sadly. (I don't know where Dough Joy bakes, and I'm contrasting with Doe Donuts here.) Still, they're consistent, vegan, all over Seattle, and wildly successful. Good for them.

Vegan donuts🍩🌱 - Edit
I might be biased because I love a good donut, but these were so so good! My latte wasn’t anything special, but I was able to try serval flavors of the donuts and they were all awesome. Pumpkin spice was great🧡

Cake Donuts - Edit
Mighty O’s Donuts were between average and mediocre for me. However, to be fair, I prefer yeast donuts, but I wanted to try their known cake donuts. We tried the Pride and Grasshopper donuts. They were sweet and moist but nothing to write home about. In a big city like Seattle, especially Capitol Hill, they felt very meh.

Yum - Edit
Everyone has their favorite donuts, these are mine. Mostly cake donuts, if you are looking for yeast donuts there are other shops in town with a wider selection. But MightyO cake donuts are perfect.

The original vegan donut - Edit
Ok the Greenlake location is the original. But Mighty-O was the first vegan donut game in town starting nearly two decades ago. While I think they are doing themselves a disservice by not branching out beyond their original cake donuts, the cake donuts are good. And organic!

Cake-style doughnuts - Edit
This a baked, cake-style vegan doughnut. The cakey doughnut leans toward drier and spongey - not necessarily bad, but a different style of doughnut option. For our two choices- a nutty chocolate and a coffee bomb - it seemed like the sweet toppings, not the baked good itself, drove and dominated the flavor.

great donuts - Edit
Great vegan donuts overall. Some of them are definitely pretty sweet and they can be kinda dense but still a great quick breakfast that goes great with coffee. I liked the plain glazed and the chocolate peanut butter.

All of the donuts are either amazing or pretty bad. - Edit
Really enjoy the chocolate iced donuts and the nutty chocolate/vanilla are amazing, but any of their iced donuts just make me feel sick, like the iced with sprinkles. Highly recommend sticking to the chocolate or “premier” donuts.

hours are wrong - closes at 3pm! - Edit
i was really excited to try these donuts given all the rave reviews, but honestly they weren't that good lol. I feel obligated to give 3 stars simply because of the novelty of the donuts being vegan; they are so so hard to find. but the donuts themselves were quite flavorless. my favorites were the coffee donut and chocolate raspberry, but the nutty vanilla and smores donuts were SUPER bland and boring. a bit pricy as well.

Stopped for a treat yourself breakfast of donuts and coffee at the Mighty-O in Capitol Hill and was not disappointed. I got three different donuts and each one was the best donut I've ever eaten in my life. Will definitely be hitting this place up again before I leave town, plus every time I'm in the area from now until the end of time.

The best vegan doughnuts I’ve ever had! - Edit
Mighty O doughnuts are worth a special trip to Capitol Hill. They’re right across the street from Plum Bistro, and we’ll usually pick up a dozen to take home after lunch. They’ve got so many fun flavors, I have to buy at least a half dozen. They usually offer a discount when ordering larger quantities. They also serve espresso drinks.
