I first had MMB a few years ago, and I wasn’t wowed. Now I know what to order (I stay away from the cakes and sweet bread - usually disappointingly dry) and I have a great experience each time I go. My absolute favorite is the lemon tart, and there’s another lemon/mint dessert that is a close second.
Read moreBut this week, friends, I experienced (yes, EXPERIENCED) the almond croissant. If you don’t like frangipane/marzipan, you won’t like this either - but that’s ok, more for me. I can still remember the texture of the flaky croissant and the richness of the almond paste inside. One of my emblematic vegan pastry experiences to date.
And while it’s not a coffee shop with all the v60/cold brew bells and whistles, you will get an oat latte here as solid as any. I also prefer this location because it’s so bright and cheery inside. À tester !

Beautiful display of cakes, freshly pressed juices, comfortable indoor seating area, spotlessly clean unisex bathroom with sounds of birds inside! Cookies 3 euros, cakes 4 euros, all yummy! Very pleasant, professional waiter. Provided jugs of cold water and ice. Highly recommended

Read moreMy french is questionable at most times but the worker behind the till was patient with me & spoke English with me, which I really appreciated as new environments can make me anxious.
I had le tarte Pauline (apologies if this is wrong!) which I will be dreaming of until I can return to Bordeaux, with an iced Americano.
A little touch that I loved was after posting on my Instagram story & tagging the patisserie, I received a sweet message from them, which was really lovely & great customer service that they take the time to do this.

I have to give it a high rating because it's fully vegan and there's so much choice - also the coffee is great! I got the pan au chocolat and carrot cake muffin and they were nice, not mind blowing but I'm still very happy I went!

Cute Vegan Bakery - Edit
Love how this whole bakery is vegan! My partner and I were so excited we came across this place! The tarts were really good. I am a huge fan of carrot cakes and had to try the one they had on display. I was a little disappointed and couldn’t finish it because it was very dried, fell apart, and didn’t have enough frosting.
