Good food, but too expensive for what they offer

Clearly marked vegan dishes, even though one dish was marked as vegan despite having cheese in the description. I had the lentil pate and the artichoke confit, which was both good, but nothing exciting. The bread was not selfmade, which is disappointing for the prices you pay there. The server was really nice and the terrace is wonderful. Unfortunately still not worth the price.

Best meze ever!

This was me and my husbands favorite place to eat when we went to kas. It has multiple options of meze, and really good bread and wine to pair with it. Furthermore, it had a great view of the ocean and staff was so nice.

Interesting Vegan Options

A decent variety of cold/hot mezze dishes that are vegan. Tried some interesting plates such as the lentil pate or twice-baked tahini. Food was good but the staff weren’t friendly and barely acknowledged us, we didn’t feel very welcomed. Also they serve liver and lamb brain on the menu which was upsetting to see. More “expensive” by Turkish standards considering we shared 3 mezze and one main. Good if going in a group with omnivores but if you are vegan/vegetarian then you’re much better off eating at the fully vegan/veggie places in Kas!!

Pros: Interesting vegan mezze options , Vegan/veggie options clearly marked on menu

Cons: Menu has lamb brain, liver, etc, More expensive than other options in the area

EAT HERE RIGHT NOW

This was hands down the best meal I've had in Turkiye. From start to finish, every dish was curated with attention to detail and most importantly did not suffer any losses by being vegan.
We started with lavender fizzy water, which was a soft and delightful beverage with just the perfect amount of lavender and sweetness.
We tried 3 different small dishes - the wild lentil paté, the tomato bulgur dish, and the porcini mushroom hummus. The paté was subtle in flavor and had lentils and onions on top that gave the dish a satisfying crunch. We wolfed down the tomato bulgur dish - it was a nourishing dish with a simple flavor profile that hit just right. The hummus was truly something special - I've never had a hummus like this before. The mushrooms were incredible, and I loved the "soup" that was in it.
We ordered the only vegan entree on the menu - the celeriac schnitzel. We were worried when we first decided to order, as we had no idea what we were ordering... though once the drink and the first plate rolled out, we trusted that whatever it was, it would be delicious. And it certainly was. Not only was it delicious, it was so inventive! What's a celeriac schnitzel you ask? I have no idea. But what I do know is that there's a real wizard of a chef in that kitchen, and they take vegan dishes seriously.
My only let down of the meal is that there was not a vegan dessert offered. I can't imagine how incredible the desserts must be. I'm very sad that I couldn't partake in that. My partner and I ended up walking over to vegan restaurant Pisekar for a dessert that did not disappoint.

*We had to make a reservation the night before to eat here*

Pros: Labeled options, Creative, Flavorful

Cons: No vegan dessert

Excellent mezes

I had the wild lentil pate and the cracked wheat tomato meze (forgot to take a picture). Both were delicious. The combination of lentils, caramelised onions and roasted peanuts was amazing. The prices are pretty high though. The two meze plates were small, with the glass of red wine I ended up paying 16€. Reservations are definitely recommended, it took me 3 tries to get a table for one person.

Cons: Expensive , reservation is needed

Delicious creative mezze

The food here is excellent. We didn’t know what to expect with it not being fully vegan, but wow, we were blown away by the love, care and incredible flavours that went into each of the vegan mezze dishes. We had the wild lentil pate (which was phenomenal!), the artichoke, the wild mushroom hummus and the cracked wheat with tomatoes (which absolutely blew my mind. The flavour was beautifully rich and so more-ish). The wine recommendations were also great and the staff are super friendly. I really recommend going here, and will definitely be returning.

Pros: Creative dishes, Incredible flavours , Friendly staff

Cons: Could offer a vegan main dish

Nice spot for dinner

We went in to Mezetaryen for dinner and really enjoyed it. We did walk past it when trying to find it, you have to walk up some steps to get to it, it isn't on ground level. The menu clearly marks veggie/vegan options, and there are some creative choices - unique dishes I haven't seen at other restaurants in Turkey. In the warm mezes menu there's a vegan dish with tomato and garlic that was amazing.

Pros: Tasty, creative food, Beautiful location

Cons: Small portions, Price a little above average for Kas
