Great food! Friendly and helpful waiter.It's f****** ADS and I can't see even if it exit.It doesn't work - Edit
We stopped here for lunch two days in a row. On the first day my husband and I both ordered the Hamburguesa Vegano. The buns were made out of plantain instead of bread. The burger had a soy patty, tomato, lettuce, something that looked like shredded cabbage, and two other vegan deli slices that tasted a little bit like fake ham. It was served with french fries. It was delicious.
Read moreThe waiter worked with me to yeah be sure that there would be no issues with food allergies. It took a little bit of work due to the language barrier. He spoke some English. My Spanish is not very good. In the end we were able to check everything out.
There were parakeets hanging out in the vegetation next to the restaurant. The waiter made sure to point out the birds for us to see. There was also a woodpecker and an ibis nearby. They grow lemon grass, Citronella and basil. The waiter tore off leaves for me to smell.
The restaurant is in the middle of a gorgeous rainforest, a beautiful setting.
We also learned that the owner's rescue dogs. After lunch, they let us meet their rescued dogs. What a delightful experience!
On the second day, my husband and I both ordered the casado vegano. It contained pinto beans, white rice, a salad, picadillo (something that seemed like squash in a tasty sauce), plantain chips, and vegan chicken nuggets. Since I am allergic to yeast and the vegan chicken nuggets contained yeast, they substituted a mixture of sweet potato fries, hash browns, and cassava for the vegan chicken nuggets. My husband.
Was able to eat the vegan chicken nuggets. He said they were delicious. The hash browns were also delicious. Is the beans were very tasty. I used an oil and vinegar dressing for the salad. It was all very good.

Great local vegan food! - Edit
This place had a few vegan options, including a vegan burger, pasta, and vegan Casado. The burger will be served without bread because the bread is not vegan. Therefore they will serve the burger alone or in between two patacones (fried plantain). Owner is very friendly and speaks English.
Read more*They may close in the evenings earlier than stated if nobody shows up. So just be aware that the opening hours are dependent on if people show up.
